UGREEN CM390 Bluetooth 5.0 USB adapter for PC (black)

A great and inexpensive way to add Bluetooth to a PC without it on the motherboard. Comes with drivers on disc, but on Windows 11 Pro these were not required, nor were some of the other steps, it was nearly plug and play. Was recognised in device manager and all that was required was Settings>Bluetooth and devices>Add device. It paired with an Elite Xbox controller and no other steps were needed. Fires up connection without anything further needing to be run. If there is any delay I can't detect it. Good value and pleased to see that there was a white option to match PC case.

Does the job.

Works fine (Plug & Play) without any drivers in Windows 10. Up and running in under 30 seconds ! Not so Windows 7 Pro however. I'd previously installed a cheap BT5.0 USB adapter and (maybe) the drivers hanging around from this install have impacted the UGreen. Wish I'd have loaded up the UGreen first, but I didn't. Followed all the instructions but still can't get the RealTek Bluetooth driver to load correctly. Unlike cheaper options they do have support, so I'll throw myself on their mercy and see. Hopes aren't high ! Bottom line - Microsoft have abandoned Windows 7 so maybe it's time to move on rather than wasting time and money attempting to retro-install Bluetooth features. Dropped a star for not working under Windows 7.

amazing build quality very good signal and range absolutley shocked that it survived after i accidentally left in my trousers which went through the washer and dryer and still works perfectly

Absolute garbage. Stopped working after 3 months. Constantly switches between connected and disconnected. Tried different ports and same result. Other items tried in same ports and working fine. Product is cheap, defective and not meant to last. Tried to arrange for a replacement but only went through to returns , which obviously is after the 28 days. Nowhere to contact UGreen so I have left this review here. Avoid like the plague as in this case, it seems it is worth spending more on the genuine Microsoft product.

Sometimes I need to unplug it from the usb port then put it back in but that might have something to do with windows being funny. Links up to my Bluetooth headphones and my Xbox controller fine, not noticed any delay. 10x better than the unbranded one I bought off eBay which ironically was more expensive.

Got me out of a hole. I was on an online course over a number of weekends and my bluetooth went down on my motherboard. I couldn't fix it and the weekend was approaching quickly so I ordered this. Plugged it in, downloaded the drivers and was up and running. Worked flawlessly to get me up and running again.
