I have used this salve for many decades since my childhood. It’s a very fast acting healing salve. Excellent for dry skin, rash from sensitive skin to weeds or grasses, insect bites, blemishes, and just about any skin irritation. It’s being used by fourth generation in our family. The grandchildren say I need Sayman Salve.I believe the ingredients have changed through the years but it’s effective for healing!

Hi. I tried this on my psoriasis. It didn’t feel very good. It felt a bit thick and a little waxy. Smell wasn’t the best. I didn’t don’t use it long enough to give it a full chance. But I was disappointed. It felt irritating. I really wanted to like it.

The ingredients are not the same. The color is different. Smell just like paint thinner. They have added numerous inactive ingredients instead of the 80% petroleum and 20% zinc oxide. Not the original!!! All these other ingredients were never added. Totally disappointed! I rubbed some on the back of my hands and face where there were problems; and now my face is stinging. The salve is very sticky not silky lotion smooth and feels like wax is on your skin.

Really helps with the itching and redness

I use Saymans everyday, and have used it since I was a boy nearly 50 years ago, all the way 5 stars. However, I tried this to deal with a rash from the wife, so here we go, it is like oatmeal and honey, I would give it 3 stars but safety seal was broke. No help at all, leaves nothing but an oatmeal smell on the skin, no where near as moisturizing as saymans. It is however what it says it is, so I didnt go 1 star. If I find any use for this, I will update review, but for me I will stick with original saymans salve.

After a long time of no symptoms, the eczema on my hand broke out again. After about 2 months of intense dry- and itchiness and none of my usual remedies providing any relief, I ordered this product. The first few times of application, the cream caused a slight stinging sensation, but it instantly relieved the itchiness. After 3 days of several applications a day, the sores started drying up and the dry skin flaked off. After a week of application, the sores, dry skin and itchiness had disappeared. I had originally added photos, but apparently they did not comply with the guidelines.
