The helmet fits well, looks cool and having the turn signals for my commuter bike makes me feel safer, more visible to cars traveling all around me. The black matches my bike like it was made for it.

The helmet itself is great, I've worn various helmets while riding my ONEWHEEL and other electric rides. Features: Probably one of the best yet brightest LED lights as compare to other helmets here on Amazon. The front white light bounces off every signs, even building windows when it flickers, you'll be spotted or even wake up sleeping drivers. There's also a "beep" sound when you turn on or off the helmet incase you're not sure if it is on or not, whereas other helmets, I have to ask others to check if the lights are on. Comfort: This one has one of the most comfortable fit, chin straps are made of quality material (does not peel after 3months), the interior MIPS is flexible, and light weight. Fitting: I'll say it feels a bit small, if you have trouble sizing, go a bit larger so it is more snug and sits better on the head. Design: Amazing design, one of the best one you can get on "Amazon" CON: I RETURNED THIS HELMET via AMAZON because it came looking "USED", the black foam has dents and creases as if it was used or just dropped. Everything else looked fine, the cover was still wrapped and sealed, but it was just me. So I returned it and ordered it again from their main site.

Outstanding helmet. Would have given 4 stars because instructions were ~ none; no transformer with the charging cable; on/off switch difficult; the Red version sadly not available, but still a great helmet. MIPS I believe is worth the extra and the light weight and fit are great, the lights are bright and the turn signals amazing. Good value for the money. Mo. later update: Minor problem: 1. with a recumbent, bumpy ride, the rear Mips inner part knocks loudly against the outer, need some adhesive foam tape. Lumos agrees. 2. The rubber charging cover difficult to lift, better after ~20 uses. Some might need a small visor.

Very happy with fit and functionality. Head band adjustment works great. Head light and back lights work great. As noted in other user comments the head light is only intended for providing visibility for the cyclist. Since I am using the helmet when riding a terra trike it would be nice if a means for hanging the turn signal around the neck. Terra bikes do not provide much handle bar room for accessory attachment. Delivery was much longer than normal Amazon turn around. (possible because a small helmet was needed).

One might think that a helmet with so many features would be complicated to use, but it's the opposite. Pairing it with my smartphone was a breeze. I can customize the LED patterns, control the brightness, and even track my rides—all from my phone. The battery life is also impressive, it uses a USB type-C cable. While this helmet is designed with amazing tech features, it's essential to note that its primary goal is to ensure you're visible to others, not necessarily to light up your path. And for those wondering about audio features, it doesn't come with built-in speakers or an intercom system. It's all about prioritizing visibility and safety on the road. After all, I want the trucks to stay AWAY from me! All in all, it covers all the bases - safety, functionality, and a bit of flair. I can focus more on enjoying my rides. I've even had people stop me just to say how cool the helmet looks! Highly recommend it for anyone who rides at night. Honestly, you won't want another helmet after experiencing this one.

Very cool helmet, easy to use app and great features

The Lumos Ultra Smart Bike Helmet is made of MIPS Technology to protect your head from a E-Bike accident. The helmet is very comfortable, lightweight, & very bright. The functionality of the lights are great for people to see you during the night. The look of the helmet is fantastic & it fits very comfortably. The helmet has a remote to control the turn signals & brake lights. It also has an app to control the brightness of the lights and to check the battery life on the helmet. This helmet is a great investment for safety when you're out in the community on the Aventon E-Bike.

This helmet is awesome! It sinks with the directional turns signals with my ebike. Also, it's comfortable and very aerodynamic, i.e. doesn't get hot while wearing.
