Works well but I wish it was wider!
This deflector does a pretty good job of deflecting air from an overhead vent. We have one that blows down directly on my head when I sit in my favorite chair in the living room. I put this up and it pretty much does what I want it to. The air that was blowing on my is reduced by, in my estimation, about 80%. The other 20% really isn't enough to bother me. If this deflector was just a couple inches wider it would do a better job of deflecting 100% of the air from that vent. Easy to install. Some assembly required. Looks kinda funky hanging from the ceiling but it's functional.

It deflects the air
Where I sit, the air conditioner blows cold air right on me. I was able to use this unit to block the air from flowing right at me. Great idea and it works.
