Great old music
Very excellent remix of very old recordings.

A good collection of hits from the 1920s
If there are any criticisms, it would be that most of the music on the CD is of the fast-paced, frenetic kind. Major songs of the time included slower songs, like those of Gene Austin and a of Rudy Vallee's introspective pieces.

Swing and sway
If you love big band music, this is it. Wonderful selections. Some instrumentals. Some vocals. Nt the usual stuff. I have bought several Past Perfect CDs and they've all been wonderful, play well, packaged well. Very much recommend them.

The sound quality is amazing!!!
Oh, do I love this CD! All Past Perfect's CD's offer exceptionally long listening. You cannot beat the intelligence, talent, imagination, and fun offered by the writers and musicians of this earlier period. And do I love this version of "Ol' Man River"! So many of these songs will get you moving your hips and feet to the rhythm. So enjoyable! Have collected three of these CD's so far and will purchase more. The sound quality on all of them is amazing!!!

Great Music Selection
The CD includes a wonderful selection of songs not generally included in 1920’s collections. Background noise has been removed leaving the wonderful sound of the music to seem like new recordings.

Case was very broken upon arrival.
The case was very obviously cracked, which could be seen, even through the plastic wrap. Once I opened the CD, it fell to pieces, all components of the case are very broken. The CD still works well. No issues with the actual CD.

As a Toddler growing up in the 1950 ,and the only source of Home Entertainment ,consisted of the Radio ,which give us Great Comedy Shows and a backdrop of "GREAT British Dance Band Music" . This genre of Music I would describe as Highly Addictive and Very Uplifting Music for The Soul . So my First port of call each Morning is to stick on one of my (CD's) of British Dance Band Music to start my day ,it gets my feet tapping , I believe the phrase is " Chasing the Blues Away" . Over this past few Months I have amassed quite a few of these "GREAT British Dance Band Music" (CD's) from AMAZON and they are absolutely Great. Very Highly Recommended . Buy With Confidence . GREAT STUFF....

Anyone who has heard a Past Perfect album will know that the sound quality is unrivalled, without sounding over-processed in any way. This one, for me, has the best selection of dance tunes in the Charleston/Blackbottom style.

The big band sound of this CD is wonderful and of excellent quality, but I was very disappointed that the singing wasn't there, so there were great songs, but no words!
