This is a neurological assessment kit crafted for medical student use. It’s an assembled kit with all the relevant products used for sensory assessment. Medical, paramedical, B.Sc. students who have human neurological assessment as a part of their practical curriculum/exam will find this kit very useful. Kit contents: 1.) Reflex Hammer: Type-Taylor hammer 3 in 1 A Rubber body with wide and narrow base to elicit reflex, point to test abdominal reflex, plantar reflex, Brush for somatosensory examination. 2.) Tuning Fork: Type-512Hz Used to test hearing and bone conduction. For clinical practice 512Hz has traditionally been preferred. 3.) Test Tube: For testing temperature sensation: Hot and cold. The test tubes are filled with hot and cold water and tested on skin. 4.) Crude touch stick It’s a rough material stick used to test crude sensation. 5.)2-point discriminator This product is used to perform 2-point discrimination on the skin. The pointed edges are secured with caps to avoid injury. Once the test is performed the distance between 2 points can be measured using scale. 6.) Brush: For Brushing technique, light touch 7.) Olfactory test Kit: This kit contains 2 fragrances for testing smell. Olfactory kit contents are to be emptied in a small box provided in the kit for testing.
