I really went back-and-forth looking at cat trees for over a year because I felt like this one was too expensive but as someone who’s wants their space to be clean and beautiful this cat tree is that. it looks brand new even after year the quality is fantastic and my cat absolutely loves it. I would buy it again, even though it was so expensive. I noticed that for some reason, my cat does not prefer the rope scratcher at the bottom so I did get a separate scratcher for him.

The Mau cat tree is my new favorite household item. It is both functional and beautiful in my home. My cats took to it immediately! They love to scratch on the rope which I’m thrilled that I can replace as needed. My cats also love laying in the basket with a machine washable cushion. I receive so many compliments from guests on this aesthetic piece. Additionally, it was really simple to build and feels super sturdy. The wood post is definitely high quality. I will be buying more products from Mau!

I really loved this stand, and so did my cat for the first few months. Now my cat wont even touch it out of fear. This is due to the fact that any pounce, jump or leap causes the stand to loosen and in turn wobble causing the potential for a cat to be flung off/fall/pinwheel in different direction, etc. Although we did our best to continually tighten the screws, eventually they stripped and we are unable to fix. Having had this less than a year, I definitely do not think this product is worth the buy.

I was so excited to get this modern looking cat tree that went perfectly with my decor. However, I was really disappointed to find I received a defective item. The hole for the flat platform was drilled into the wrong side of the lower branch, which forces you to build it upside down. This puts the scratcher too high and creates an unreasonable spread between the flat platform and basket. It is now unusable for my petite cat.I’m also very frustrated with the return experience. The only option is to box it up, print a return label and drop it off at UPS. That’s an hour of my time I won’t get back.If this product had been built as shown in the advertisement, I would have been thrilled with it. Now I’m just left frustrated and disappointed.UPDATE: Customer support is excellent! They offered to send me a new branch for my kitty so there's less spread between the lower platform and top bucket. I already returned the item though, but they said when I reorder (which I plan to because I really like the look of the product), I can give them my order number and they'll try to find me a suitable branch for my small cat. Changed my star rating to 4*.

Sturdy enough for the intended usage despite some reviews. The wood is solid and heavy, and the structure easily supports my medium size fat cat.UPDATE: I had to contact customer service for support relating to the item. I was able to chat via Amazon customer service messaging, and Rich from Mau was so helpful and exceeded expectations. These are handmade items, and as such, they are unique and beautiful, and every piece of wood is slightly different. Overall, I highly recommend this product, it is very different from the usual blah cat trees that are the alternatives. I care a lot about the aesthetics of my house; this fits great, and my cat loves it.

The media could not be loaded. I want to kick myself in the tookus for paying so much for a cat tree but LOOK at it! It is beautiful! One look at those organic curves and white fluffy fluffs and my money just slipped out of my hands. I want my adopted feral baby to have nice things too, she deserves it. She hasn’t used the top basket yet although I suspect she must have sat in it at least once because there is a nice depression in the middle. It does take her a while to get used to new things so I’m not regretting my purchase. However, I would highly advise to buy directly from the website. I didn’t think of it until I already placed my Amazon order and I could have gotten a discount from the company. It was too late to cancel the order so I just sucked it up for maybe the next order. I really want to support their business as you can tell their products are well made and they love cats! They also plant a tree for every cat tree that is purchased. Win win in my book. The only thing I would change about this cat tree is the hanging toy is on the wrong side of the basket and I wish there was rope on the bottom of the branch instead of only the middle. But these are things I can probably do myself.

MY CAT LOVES THIS! A little treat was given, providing us with Catnip to place on the pillows. All time great idea. It's made extremely well, it's sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. Will not use any other cat tree company moving forward. Delivery was faster than expected, and lastly, they give back. One tree planted and 5% given to animal charities. Very happy with our product and highly recommend it.

I like to buy my fluffball nice quality things because our pets deserve it just as much as we do. I surround myself with nice chairs, couches, and beds to enjoy, he deserves the same. I've bought Bob a few new cat snuggle spots over the past year, but nothing has clicked like this. I do not believe I've ever seen him in love with a certain spot in the house more. It took him all of 1 minute to hop in and claim it.After a decade of a variety of "affordable" cat perches, to have one that looks this great in my home, but ALSO be this great for him is just such a win. Worth the cost on multiple levels. The uniqueness of each piece sold, the quality of the materials used, and the overwhelming joy I receive when seeing my cat in a spot he loves so much.
