Dyson Hose, Internal Dc41

I needed an internal hose replacement after the red tab on my original hose broke off. I looked at several replacement internal hoses, which are hard to find, and decided on this one. It fits and works perfectly. It is a bit of a tricky fix. I found a tutorial on YouTube and was able to make the swap. There are a couple different videos. Make sure to find the one around 20 minutes, as the 10 minute video only covers removing the old part and not re-installing. Also, make sure to keep the tiny screw from the original internal hose because the new hose doesn't include one.After replacing, my vacuum works better than when new. I used to have to use a lot of force to get the vacuum back into the upright position. Now the handle locks back into place with minimal pressure. I'm very happy with this.

This part saved me from buying a new vacuum! Although it is a bit tricky to install, there are videos online to follow and with a little patience, you can do it.

Fit perfectly on my dyson animal 2 vacuum cleaner. When dyson told me they were sold out and wouldn't be in stock for another 2 weeks I had to buy this part, I couldn't wait that long. So I bought it and changed it out myself, if you have the option to get it fixed for free at a repair shop then do it! It'll save a lot of headache BUT if not then you will need a set of star shaped tools to get this job done, the hexagon tools will work in a pinch but it's SO MUCH BETTER with the star shaped tools. Also a tip that I should've done, take pictures of ALL your progress, it'll make putting the screws and little parts back in place soooooo much easier! You'll only need one small Philips screw driver, the rest will be the star shaped drivers. Anyways! I got it replaced and it sections beautifully now, the original part lasted nearly 3 years, so these hoses may be the ones that you need to replace every few years which is worth the price of these parts vs going to get a new $500 vacuum. I love my vacuum and I'm so happy I was able to get a replacement so fast! 🙌

Fit is perfect, quality is great, functionality is normal. Not sure about durability it hasn't been on long yet. Watch videos on YouTube for install instructions. Paired with a new brush head it's like a new vacuum!

So this part broke on my Dyson awhile ago. And you can't use the vacuum on the floor, only the hose.I watched a good DIY youtube video to change it. Its not hard to do if you are ok at mechanical stuff and can follow instructions. Note that my vacuum used 2 size of torque screwdrivers. Be sure that you have alot of small torque screwdrivers. And one size didn't match up with the video. Once i got it all apart, it was easy to put back together. Good as new.Except the little screw on this part is not supplied. It still stays attached with the clip, and doesn't pop off, but know that there's no screw.

Fit perfectly but would not be easy to install for most. Restored suction to like new performance.

Nothing like bringing back your Dyson back to life at a great price and only took about 15 minutes.

It was the exact same as the one the broke and 50 bucks less than from dyson.

The part is an original Dyson part so will fit the broken hose perfectly. Have not installed the part yet but do not anticipate any issues with the new hose.

Part appears to be the same as OEM but hopefully made of better materials. A bit tricky to install but YouTube is your friend. The deterioration of the old part was gradual and it wasn't until the new part was installed we realized the difference; twice the performance (at least).
