Awesome quality set for someone trying it out. Everything is included. Hot plate, pitcher, wax, scents, labels, stirrers, containers and lids, wicks the whole 9 yards. You could absolutely gift this set however that’s not my intention. I’m a semi empty nester and need a hobby to occupy my time. Great for beginners and I’m excited to get started and see if this is the hobby for me. I’ve only made one candle so far and I mixed scents so I jacked it up but it looks good just smells terrible. lol I have lots more to tinker with and practice makes perfect, right?

The kit came in a nice box and all was packed nicely, however the lids to the oils where not placed on tightly and thee oils where leaked out everywhere so i didnt have much fragrance in the bottles was a bit disappointed. The rest of the kit was amazing you have everything you need to learn to make a candle. Would recommend to anyone wanting to learn.

Before I get harassed, I watched them closely, this does involve a hotplate and hot wax, but is was alot of fun for me and my grandchildren. I am always looking for projects with them, and these candles are a great project.The candles smell great, and easy to make, I highly suggest for anyone looking to have a project or just want to learn how to make candles.Kit comes with absolutely everything you need, and is very good quality.

Love the kit and directions! Only issue is one of the oils “Ocean” smelled great but the bottle had leaked during shipping. 😞So had less then a teaspoon to useThe other full kit I purchased the Orange oil leaked. So less then half a bottle was available

This is a well-functioning candle set. Each bag of wax makes two candles and takes two of the little heart-shaped dye chunks. There are a nice variety of scents. The miniature electric stove works well too. I suggest melting the wax on a low dial setting, like 1 or 2—I used 4 the first time, and it took a while for the wax to cool enough for me to add the scented oil.
