I bought this opener to replace my old “non smart” motor that was not compatible with myQ wifi hub. This motor is very quiet, easy to install and program, functions exactly as described and super easy to connect to wifi. For the money I think this is a great quality purchase.

I had to replace 3 garage door motors and was on the fence about how much “Tech” I wanted on a motor that I only needed to open/close a door. I bought these on a Black Friday deal so that pushed me over the fence. They work great, super quiet and great range on the garage door remotes.Installation was made easy using the QR code to download the installation manual/video so if you know how to turn a wrench it’s almost impossible to mess it up. The first motor took 40 mins to install while the third motor took 15 minutes. I was able to reuse the existing garage door sensors on 2 of the three doors without any issues.Now for the “Tech” review…The App acts like any other App, when it works it’s awesome, but when it doesn’t it is absolutely frustrating. In my humble opinion that’s just technology and I’ll say that since I installed these in November and it now is February, it’s been working for me 75 percent of the time. I look at it as a “plus” feature so it’s not a deal breaker but I didn’t buy these to “depend” on the app feature.All in all, they are a great motor. I’d definitely purchase again if I had to but only if they are on sale…

This is the best garage door opener I have ever had. I highly recommend it. My wife had a medical emergency a while back and I was at work. I was able to go online and open the garage so the paramedics could get in to the house to her.

Easy to install. Much more quiet than my previous unit but also functions much faster. Love the ability to open/close remotely as well as viewing through the incorporated camera. Only flaw, the wall unit did not function and I had to purchase a different unit- but it easily connected without issue.

I purchased two of these, one for each of the garage doors. They are absolutely amazing. Super quiet, unbelievably quiet. The cameras are great and give me piece of mind. I also purchased separately the keypad with camera to cover the entire garage area. The app is easy to setup and get connect everything. I had the lifts installed professionally. These are so amazing especially for the price (Black Friday purchase). I cannot say enough about how quiet they are compared to the chain driven ones I had before.

Replaced an 8yr old Genie screw drive with this one because we wanted wifi connectivity and we could not get the genie to work with our car's Homelink. I installed the opener myself, it was pretty easy. The one step I missed which ended up costing me an hour is the opener will not work until you first set the limits. Its a nice opener, quiet, no connectivity issues, works well. Will probably get another for our small garage.

I love the quality of the camera and capability to view live footage from my phone. The garage door works great and is quiet. I am able to open and close my garage door from anywhere as long as the wifi works. I have set up notifications on my phone for motion in my garage or when garage door is opened. Your receive 2 remote openers to keep in your car as well as a wall light switch. The garage door comes with a motion sensor light that turns on and lights up my garage when there is movement. The garage door opener is easy to assemble. It may require 2 people to install if you can not mount to the device to the ceiling while holding the track and motor at the same time.

Horrible customer service. Opener arrived and was missing a crucial part. It took an hour just to get someone on the phone to help but then they just jerked me around for another hour. They are completely incapable of helping. All they do is read from a computer script and ignore what you are telling them. They kept sending me picture after picture of different parts because they claim the part name I am giving them isn't in their system, yet that name I used is the exact name given in the installation instructions. Speaking of instructions: there is no parts list in the packaging or instructions. You have to search for a QR code on the box, download an app, and then find your installation video instructions inside that app. And good luck finding any information to contact customer support; it is nonexistent in the packaging. I had to go to the Chamberlain website and jump through a ton of hoops to find a # to call. They clearly do everything possible not to talk to you. I could barely understand the customer service rep's accent and the added noise around him made it nearly impossible to hear him clearly. He would randomly mute the call without telling me and I would sit for long periods of time with no communication, which made me wonder if the call was disconnected. Overall, they provided a terrible customer service experience and never resolved the issue after wasting 2 hours of my time. I will never purchase another Chamberlain product.
