Kombucha Pop for people who don't like Kombucha
We are big fans of kombucha in our family. We brew it at home gallons at a time and drink it on a daily basis. We are always interested to try new kombucha drinks, I've been really interested to try these since they seem to try to avoid mentioning kombucha anywhere in the marketing on the can except for the ingredients. The pop itself is good, it is a very lite version of kombucha and reminds me of how we make spritzers in summer with white wine, sparkling water, and a little bit of kombucha. I really like that it has very few calories and is a refreshing drink but also has the pre-biotic benefits of a fermented beverage. My favorite flavor is the Pomegranate Berry as it is more fruity and tastes a little more substantial than the lemon lime and ginger fizz.At $2.50 a can, these are slightly less than most premium beverages and energy drinks which seem to run about $3.Overall very happy with the "Health-Ade Pop Vegan Organic Prebiotic Soda for Gut Health, Healthy Soda with Antioxidants, Lactic Acid to Detoxify, 12 Pack Case (12 Fl Oz Cans), Classic Variety Pack".

Light on flavor heavy on cost
Health-Ade Pop Vegan Organic Prebiotic Soda: $29.99 for a 12-pack at the time of reviewI’ll admit that I’m not the best person at keeping track of my gut health. I’m sure there are telltale signs but I have a hard time paying attention. So I’ve recently started trying some dietary supplements to rectify that. This prebiotic soda seemed like a fun and hopefully tasty way to do that so I gave it a chance.*What I liked*:The soda itself was not bad. It has a very slightly vinegary taste (something I am acutely aware of, as I hate vinegar) but overall it isn’t bad. To be honest I was a little scared of the flavor and I was pleasantly surprised. At only 35 calories a can, it’s not a diet-breaker. I didn’t feel bad drinking a couple of cans in a sitting.Small, no-nonsense cardboard packaging for a 12-pack. I like seeing minimal packaging and not unnecessary plastic use like this.*What I didn't like*:This is a prebiotic drink (meaning it will help feed and encourage growth of healthy bacteria in your gut). Honestly, there are better, cheaper sources of prebiotics to integrate into your diet. At about $2.50/can this stuff is pretty spendy (about as much as a bottle of Kombucha, something that has proven health benefits).I didn’t drink enough of this to test the efficacy of its claims of improved gut health. That said, I don’t really know how you would. There are many diet changes that could account for similar changes.*The Bottom Line:*This wasn’t the best soda for me. The flavor was… ok. And I’m not sure this alone would contribute to lasting health benefits. At $2.50/ a bottle it’s just too expensive to keep drinking it to find out. Three stars out of five. I would not order this again.

A winner
For some years I was a regular drinker of Health-Ade brand kombucha... I always liked it because there were interesting flavors, it was organic, and had low sugar content. A year or so back Health-Ade had come out with a new drink called Booch Pop that I was excited to try, and I really didn't care for it at all. I found it to taste overly vinegar-y and just didn't like it at all. When I saw this new Health-Ade "Pop" which has the exact same flavors in this pack as the Booch Pop, I wondered if it was the exact same product with a new name or what. So it made me curious to try it. I am pleased to report that this is not the same as Health-Ade Booch Pop. These do not have an overly strong vinegar taste which makes me very happy. They just taste like a yummy fruity carbonated soda. All of the flavors are nice. I already ordered a second pack of it, but picked a different variety pack with some other flavors in it to try. If that is not a compliment I am not sure what else I could say - it's yummy and I'll be a a repeat customer. I hope they offer it with a subscribe & save discount in the future.

Interesting prebiotic tunic for gut health
This is a pretty interesting prebiotic tonic for gut health. It is a sort of a kombucha with added prebiotics, healthy acids, plant-based goodies and minerals. The 3 different flavors are pretty decent. They don't taste like soda but all have a bubbly, kombucha-like, slightly acidic taste with real fruit juice flavor in it. The taste is pretty decent if you're used to kombucha. I like that they are certified organic and lightly sweetened with real sugar. No stevia or artificial sweeteners. They are supposed to help fuel the existing beneficial bacteria in your gut and hence support a healthy gut flora. This comes in a box of 12 slim & tall 12 fl. oz. aluminum cans in 3 different flavors. They are shelf-stable and do not require refrigeration but do taste better when chilled. Mine has a best before date of 10 months from now. Overall, I quite enjoy this tunic. Pretty decent flavor and healthy for the gut flora. Low in carbs and calories. It is worth giving this a try if you like kombucha. A nice option to have.

I like the flavor and it's healthier than most sodas
I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews of this prebiotic soda, but I like it. All 3 flavors taste good to me. Of course they don't taste exactly the same as a regular soda, but that is because of the ingredients. Each can contains some green tea, some black tea, monk fruit, fruit juices, and kombucha. So these are very healthy drinks, and I think they taste great. If you are looking for a drink that has more flavor than sparkling water and better for you than your typical soda, I recommend giving these a try.
