These are nice big combs and very sturdy. Not the cheap flimsy type. They will last for years and years.

Detangles, but much bigger than expected!
I'd buy these again in a heartbeat. Do the job and unlikely to break, but I attached picture because they're a lot bigger than expected. Just be aware. I really like mine. Kiddo likes hers and it's a good size for little hands to manage. The tines are farther apart than I'd like, but I can give my hair a few more swipes or reach for a finishing brush. The tine arrangement makes it easy to clean for those of us who use dry shampoo and don't want the build up on the comb to deposit "dandruff" at a later date.Biggest complaint: It doesn't travel very well because of the size.I got this pack because I wanted to get my friend's 4yo a friendlier comb to detangle and I needed a new one. Kiddo has medium curly hair (similar to mine) that Mom doesn't know how to deal with. When I visited them for the first time over the summer, 4's reaction to having her hair brushed gave me childhood flashbacks! Tender head, screaming, and tears... and that's before the brush touched her. My mother's "solution" was to keep my hair chopped so short I was regularly mistaken for a boy. It sucked, so I had to intervene to save this 4yo from a similar fate!I can happily report that these combs meant that by the end of my visit hair brushing time had gone from an ordeal to having 4 ask us to check her hair and/or remind us to "do the back" [of her head].Next child-rearing mountain for 4's mom: getting 4 to open her mouth for the dentist! Lol!
