They work great and fit in any space. I made a template of where the holes went. It's in a slant to allow to twist open and closed. I didn't realize the lights weren't for exposed outdoors. I used it under a porch. I have a wired motion light. But when I lost power this is good to have lights at the front door/garage. Solar light doesn't get sun in this location. I have many motion lights throughout my home and they are convenient.

I put these lights on my travel trailer and they work well for extra light and with auto on/off. The only draw back is you need to remove the "ball" light before traveling or they will come out. They simply pull out and pop back in.

They are great. I have them mounted on my front and back screen doors. The regular motion lights do not detect my dog at nite she is to small. With the roll around head adjusted to her and boom let there be lite on the little girl. Good quality. I did put alittle sticky tape once I found the right balance so would not rotate open close door all the time

Edit to add - although Amazon didn’t care to help because it was 3 days past the return date when they stopped working, the seller was willing to help. Seller offered to replace them but I was worried same thing would happen and I’d be in the same position trying to find someone to help so they refunded me. So positive review for the seller.Bought 2 sets of these so I have 4. Thought they were great at first. Motion worked great. They were fairly bright. Had them 3 days past a month. 3 days past my return window. Then 1 suddenly went dim (I didn’t even know it turned on). Next evening 2 more did the same. (It’s not the batteries- brand new batteries). So I have only 1 working light now and amazon will not do anything to help me since it’s a few days past the return window. I guess they don’t care that I spent money on these lights that only worked for 1 month. The rep said she would send me the manufacturer contact information and to contact them. I said I wanted it while we were on the phone because just the other day I was told I was getting a link to the seller and it turned out to be a link to the amazon assistant which is most definitely NOT the seller. She told me she didn’t have the capability to tell me or email me while on the phone. Which is completely bs. Sure enough all she did was send me a link to the page to buy the light. I could have gone there myself. No additional information than I already had. So now I am stuck with 3 non functioning lights that are only 33 days old. I about done with amazon too.

I'm a senior citizen and the thought of falling down my basement stairs is a bit frightening. So I bought this and placed it on the size of the top stair out of the way so I wouldn't trip on it. It goes on with every door opening and shuts off with every close. It provides just enough light during the day and night that I can see that top stair and won't have a mis-step. I had to return another similar model from a different manufacturer but this one does the trick.

I’m surprised this product got as many positive reviews as it did after trying them out myself. I sought out this product for my dimly lit front porch. rent so I can’t install a new motion sensing light and the solar powered model doesn’t get enough sun to work reliably so I thought I’d give this battery powered option a try but after several attempts at positioning it, it seems the motion detector isn’t very strong - you have to be right in front of it and wave around to get it to light up which is a shame because I like the ease of directionality on its base and the brightness is good, it just doesn’t work great so I’m considering returning these. The lighting solution continues…

Great sensor lights, very bright, good movement detectors. They need to be in the dark to work, took me a while to work out that out. The motion sensors will not work in a well lit room.

Provides a very bright light instantly when needed. Easy to mount

These lights were weak and did not live up to the standards that were promised. My light on my phone is brighter than both of them combined. Couldn’t light up a tunnel.
