I purchased two of these to hang an American and a state flag off of our second story deck. The flag pole is extremely well made and sturdy and the holding bracket is as well. The flags get a lot of wind and the flags have never got twisted up or snagged in the four months since I installed them. The bracket easily mounted with three screws which came in the package. The poles are in two pieces and connect with thumb screws.

The pole assembly was easy & high quality. Just wish the carabiners used to attach the flag were higher quality. They feel like plastic & not metal. One of the holes that the retention screw goes into stripped the 1st time I put a screw in it & before it had any tension on it. The other one still works though.

This flag pole is easy to install and works great. The material is strong and durable and the flag doesn't get all twisted up.

I was very concerned when it arrived in pieces. It was easy assemble and sturdy. I'm thinking about getting more. Great value.

My 2x3 flag hooks on nicely and doesn't constantly twist around the post on windy days.s. I only used 2 of the 3 poles and it looks perfect in length. Holder has two slots depending on if you want flag to hand straight or furl.

They constantly get tangled up and do not operate properly

Chose this one because it is all metal construction and it doesnt disappoint.The wall plugs and screws are surprisingly good size although screw heads strip easily so be careful if using power screwdriver.Ive saw criticism of the wingnuts damaging the flags, but as the ones for securing flag to pole are plastic and round - not sure how the damage is caused coz the pole sits at either 45 degrees or horizontal.The wingnuts that secure the pole to the bracket are metal - so i guess if you put a very big flag on it there is a chance it might snag, but personally i dont think they look right with too large a flag.
