Work great, better price
Definitely worth it. You get your workout just as in the gym without paying the ridiculous price of the famous brand one. I got a special hook on Home Depot that was inexpensive, so I don't use this on a door. No complains

Another toy...
...for my home gym.If you've been doing your workouts at home, having variety helps keep motivation strong.I use: free weights, body weight, resistance tubing, a step, a bosu.....and now these. No offense, but one could consider these the "poor mans" TRX.These are sturdy and competent for my #164#.s body, for various body weight types of resistance training.I tried them outside looped over a skinny 6 foot tree stump. There are loops at the ends that enable you to do that.As you see from the product page, there are also little "graduated" stops within the strap that allow you to select a height to lock over your door to use in a doorway. The usefulness of this is really going to depend on how sturdy your door/doorway is and how much space you have to work in, in front of that doorway. At my house, all of my doorways do not offer a lot of space and so, not a lot of versatility as to the exercises I can do.Also, the thickness of the straps could be a thing, as far as fitting in between your door and doorway. They worked with my front door with just a little "encouragement" to get the door closed.I'd rather have the straps sturdy than not. What I wish they had included would be a locking adjusting/adapter band that you could lock the end loops through that could be attached to, say a rafter board in the garage.Still, the additional body weight exercises that I did and can be done with these adds an additional level of challenge and variety to my and any workout.I will actually use these as part of my workout.I hope this review has enabled you to make an informed purchase decision; if so, please hit the "helpful" button below; Thanks :-).I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

I'm not an expert workout guy, barely an amateur, but I really like these straps
I use the strapped to the OUTSIDE of the door so when I'm pulling against my body weight I'm pulling the door INTO the frame; if I used it on the other side, I'd be pulling the door OUT of its frame and I think I could do that given the strength of these straps.OK - the truth is I don't know what I'm doing with these - I haven't gone to a yoga class ever (I used to walk by a Yoga school on my way to work and that's as close as I've been) and I've never used these before, but the idea of working out at home and getting a good stretch in appealed to me.These are incredibly strong and give the user lots of options. There are three placement points on the steps that allow you to make them three varying lengths, and they can be put at the top, bottom, or side of a door (or under a heavy object) to use them. The end of the straps can be held in your hands or strapped to your feet. The stretches and pulls one can do with these straps can create a great workout and the stretches are good. I'd suggest taking a look at YouTube tutorials to find the exercise that is right for you.Start slowly and carefully.I've been using these straps every other day for stretching and strength for just over two months now and they work very well. They are very strong and well made. I feel safe putting my full body weight (160 pounds) to use with these straps and feel very comfortable doing so.

Work well for PT activities
I got these to use to perform various shoulder and upper back PT exercises at home, and they have worked really well. I like that I can change the length of the straps by just changing which anchor point I use. Just open the door and slide the strap to the anchor you now want to use, and close the door. Simple as can be. There are no moving or movable parts to break, like buckles or clasps. The straps are wide and thick, and have held up beautifully with being used every day. Since they use a person's own bodyweight, I can make an exercise as hard or as easy as I want without buying any additional equipment. A small pamphlet of exercises comes with the bands, and a quick online search pulled up even more. My physical therapist was able to help me tailor several exercises to fit my particular needs. That ability is important when choosing equipment for home exercise. Why spend thousands on equipment that can only be used one way?I knocked off a star for the lack of included carry/storage bag and for including such a short list of exercises. I'd happily pay an extra few bucks for a poster-sized foldout of ways to exercise with these straps. Paying $24 for only two straps is kind of high, though.

Another good piece of equipment for my home gym
I have limited space in my house so like to find workout equipment that doesn’t take up much space but offers a good workout while using it. These straps fall into this category. They take up very little space when not in use. I wish they came with a little carrying bag. They are well made and I feel comfortable that when I trust my entire body weight onto the straps that they will hold me and not fail. They are rated for up to 300 pounds. The handles are comfortable to hold.I like that there are multiple positions over the door that I can choose from for more versatility of size and exercises. One note, it is much safer to setup the straps so that when the door is closed the straps are being used in the direction of the door closing. My Mom has used exercise bands over the door in the past and the door opened while she was pulling on the straps causing her to fall to the floor. I have used these in the direction of the door opening but I made sure the deadbolt was locked to prevent the door from being pulled open. The straps come with a pamphlet that gives examples of possible exercises to do with the straps. It only has a few exercises. It would have been nice to have more exercises listed.Overall though, I really like these straps and will be putting them to use frequently.
