Absolutely perfect
I have generally quite a favourable impression of SMALLRIG products and have acquired many of them for use with my Sony ZV-E10 MK II camera. This camera arm is study and seemingly durable, and with three rods there is plenty of scope for adjustment. I do think the locking mechanism on each rod joint seems a bit questionable and flimsy but I haven't had any real issues with it yet. The product is quite expensive so you might have questions of value for money. I am not 100% sure if this is worth it over cheaper alternatives by competitors, but I am comfortable spending this premium for a brand I know is generally reliable, fully functional, and easy to use.

Clever addition for a serious Youtuber
I bought this for making videos at my desktop (talking head films)Really nice bit of kit, steady, stable and easy to use.No wobbling like you may have with other clamps.Thoroughly impressed and a great addition to the filming kit.

Perfect for positioning lights on your desk, well made, easy to use.
Really good quality, light and strong, adjust height and use the ball head to angle as needed.Comes with carry bag to protect in storage and transit.I wonder why anyone needs to spend more

Sturdy, well made, but one small flaw
Would have given this 5 stars except for one flaw: none of the pipe extensions turn - they only go up or down - so if you screw a camera mount to the top and it doesn't line up in the direction you want, you can't turn the pole to adjust. It did come with a decent quality ball mount which gave me more freedom to position the camera, but it added to the height at the lowest setting. Designing it so the pole would turn would've been easiest. That said, it's sturdy, the poles and tightening nuts are well made, and the heights extend to work well for my needs; I use it both for holding a camera and a Røde NT USB mic.Overall, happy with the purchase.

Great little tool
This is a great little item. I use my DSLR which I bought for £1k without lens, for zoom calls etc. I have other camera equipment so this became a very expensive webcam. However, I had mounted the DSLR on a tripod on the desk to one side. This was not practical and had issues around knocking the tripod over etc. This small rig item has solved my issue. It’s very sturdy that I have no concerns. Has a ball head on top so I can angle it as needed so it sits behind my monitors. It has extension tubes so you can raise it up high. The clamp mechanism is quite deep so should fit most tables or kitchen worktops.

Works well
I use this to mount a small, lightweight, 4K video camera for which it is fine. I’m not sure that I’d trust it with anything much heavier. Still, the Small Rig stuff is well made and should last for ages.

Exactly what I was after for my canon m50!
This product fits onto my desk incredibly well and is in a secure position in no time.It can be adjusted to different heights - though there were no instructions for this (in my case) and I did have some difficulties at first. However, this is a great feature that has since worked very wall for me.It has a ball joint and the top that allows you to point your mounted camera in any direction incredibly effortlessly - and once fastened your camera isn't going anywhere! One thing I have found is that when mounting my camera (canon m50) when its in its smallrig cage, it can be quite challenging to get off!Overall, smallrig are the only ones selling a desk mounted stand as good this - so I highly recommend this product!
