I have lived all over the world and discovered the amazing healing properties of eucalyptus oil while living in India and Singapore. I understood that it possessed antibacterial properties, but I was unaware that it also had anti-viral properties as well. I also lived in Singapore where Traditional Chinese Medicine is practiced side by side with Western Medicine and was surprised to see that it was often prescribed as antibacterial and antiviral topical medicinal drug for the treatment of open wounds which were not healing correctly. I attempted a test with this oil on a diving wound from coral which had become infected alongside an antibacterial medication. I was astounded by (1) how much it hurt during the application, and (2) how much faster it healed with the oil vs. the commonly prescribed antibiotic ointment. If you can get over the initial stinging pain, the drug goes to work almost immediately with an anesthetic pain reliever. The wound was healed in a matter of three days as opposed to more than a week with the neosporin/bacitracin ointment. I was truly shocked by the speed at which the red margins of the wound infection dissipated, and how rapidly the new tissue developed without the need for any other treatment or covering beyond the third day. The use of eucalyptus as a deep muscle relaxant is long well known and is the active ingredient in many of the over the counter medications. This particular brand carried by Amazon is 30 ml. which is a very large volume that is seldom seen and the price was truly excellent for the quantity provided. I will certainly shop for this brand again the in the future.

The scent is not as strong as what I'm used to from YL but I use this for making pain salves for my massage business so lets see if the pain reliving properties are the same. Haven't tried yet.the price n size was great though.

I have been ordering Plant Therapy products for about 4-5 years now and have been very pleased with the quality of their product. I use the essential oils daily in my diffuser and in my daily routine and they are very effective. Plant Therapy oils are not as expensive as other brands and they last a long time. Only one time did I receive a bottle that was not quite right and the company immediately sent me a replacement bottle at no cost. Great company, great product!
