I bought this smart bulb a few months ago and honestly, it was a great choice. Before buying, I did quite a bit of research because I was worried the brightness might feel low or the colors wouldn’t look vivid enough — but that wasn’t the case at all.The bulb has really good brightness, even for daily use, and the color tones look rich and lively. The colors are fun to play with, and the features it offers — like different preset scenes and modes for reading, relaxing, etc. — are genuinely useful for creating different moods.Overall, I definitely think it’s worth the investment if you want a smart bulb that’s easy to control, offers nice vibrant colors, and gives you flexibility to set the atmosphere you like. I’m very happy with it!

Dislikes: Not Govee's fault, but it would be nice if Alexa understood the variations of colors, she doesn't understand the color Teal, and on occasion has an issue with Orange. Haven't gone through all the color shifts possible, but sure I'll find more that Alexa doesn't understand in time. Only other dislike I have, again, not Govee's fault, but Alexa doesn't understand the "Dreamscape" mode where the bulb(s) can pick up sound with their built-in microphone, so they can automatically color shift to the music you're playing. Would have been nice if Alexa could access that aspect of these bulbs using voice commands, but I couldn't get Alexa to comply with entering that mode for these bulbs.Likes: I can voice control the bulbs with Alexa and can shift intensity or color, within Alexa's comprehension, so at least the basic control is available. But if I want the lights to hear music or sounds, I have to use the Govee Home App to do that. Minor inconvenience, would have been nice if Alexa could have been used for this option as well.Set up in the Govee app can be a bit daunting, but once you understand their Control App and get it linked to your Amazon account, set-up is fairly easy to do, and easy to add to Alexa once that hurdle is done.Lights are very bright at 100%, much better than I expected, especially with the White color, I have to use it at 10% when using my computer because it's glaring at 100%, the 10% setting is ideal for my computer table lamp to use while on my computer. If not using the computer, 100% lights up my living room very well, even at 50%, the bulb lights up my living room area very nicely, but still too bright for being on the computer. LOLThese bulbs are very nice, seem to be easy to use and set the variations of color easily (in the Govee App), like stated in my dislikes, Alexa has some issues when asking to change the color on some colors, again, minor annoyance if using Alexa for full control of these bulbs. I have 2, one in a living room lamp and one in a small table lamp on my nightstand. Alexa turns them off and on nicely, sets intensity easy enough, Alexa only has issues when requesting certain colors to be used, like Teal, and sometimes Orange.Other than these things I consider minor annoyances, these bulbs work fantastic, due pretty much what you want them to do. And I can definitely recommend them.

I ordered 2 sets of this product for my bedroom lamps. The color accuracy is incredible, allowing my space to take on whatever vibe I intend. The lights do however have trouble with yellows but they get better towards the orange hues. Connection to my phone, internet, and smart assistant (Google Nest) made smart operability easy. The color spectrum is quite wide and specific, and the app allows for the bulbs to respond to audio cues like music. I haven’t noticed any flickering even on the lowest of brightness settings, and the lights respond quickly to off, on, brightness, and color commands. I’d also highly recommend these bulbs when using them alongside other Govee home products, as they can respond to triggers given by other devices that you assign.

These smart lightbulbs have been a game-changer for my home lighting! The ability to control the lights from my phone through the app is incredibly convenient. I love customizing the colors to set the perfect mood, whether it’s a relaxing evening or a vibrant party. The app is user-friendly, and I appreciate how seamlessly I can link multiple bulbs from the same brand. With just one tap, I can turn all the lights on or off, which is super handy.I already have strip lighting from the same company behind my TVs, and I love those too. They pair perfectly with these bulbs to create a cohesive and customizable lighting setup throughout my home.The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the bulb didn’t work with one of my floor lamps that has a built-in remote control. Unfortunately, I have to use my phone to operate that light, which is a bit inconvenient in that specific setup.Overall, these bulbs are versatile, easy to use, and worth the investment if you’re looking to upgrade your lighting. Just keep in mind that compatibility with certain lamps might vary.

Love all products Goove, Wasn't able to use these in the manner in which I wanted to and now just have then sitting around until I can figure out exactly where I want to put them. Make sure you do not make the same mistake I did and check the connection on your light source before you purchase these bulbs. While the light bulbs are standard size you would be surprised how many different fans and other lamps don't take this size bulb. Other then my mistake these bulbs work great, they connect with all of my other Goove products with ease and they really upgrade any room with the ability to change color at the press of a button. The lights are bright and they have one of if not the best LED color spectrum of all smart bulbs on the market!

Govee smart bulbs offers a lot of features and is very easy to use. The affordability is also a plus and I love how it enhances my homes lighting with amazing smart features.
