The BEST!!!
THIS is the BEST 'nice cream' maker on the planet It is very easy to operate, uses the least amount of fruit for the largest amount of product, disassembly and cleanup are a breeze. What more can I say except that the shape of the grinder is an 'ice cream' cone therefore making clean-up fun and tasty!Follow instructions regarding fruit frozen and thawing for 5 min...very important. It works perfectly if you are gentle and the noise level is way less than other brands, this is a biggie in my book! For my evening snack I use; 1 frozen banana halved, 1C frozen cherry blend or any bagged fruit blend, 1 T cocoa powder, 1/2 T cinnamon. Put all fruit and dry ingredients into shaker baggie and coat...let set for the 5min and grind away. I have mine with a bit of chopped vegan choco bits and walnuts...healthy and delish!

So quick and easy to use
This is such an easy and clever way to make sorbet - and not just ordinary sorbet, either. I get so tired of sorbets that are sticky from either sugar or corn syrup. I also hate using up freezer space for the containers used in regular sorbet makers (not to mention the hassle of making the original product and having to wait overnight at times before it can be used in the machine).I just fill up a few zip-lock bags with fruit (of course fruit like bananas and mangos are peeled) and put them in the freezer. You might have to cut some of them to fit into the tube, but it's still less cutting and preparing than you'd need to make sorbet the traditional way. And when I want a sugar free, all natural sorbet I pick out a variety and run them through the machine. There are some recipes to get you started. You can adjust the recipes according to your own personal taste. For example, you can add more bananas if you want the result sweeter.Another great advantage is that you can take fruit that is slightly over-ripe and use it instead of throwing it out. Of course, you might need to trim the fruit if it's been bruised. I find that fruit that's ripened to this point often has a better flavor than those that look "perfect."This is a great idea even in the winter, but I'm really looking forward to summer, when you want something nice and cold that has more nutrients than water.

Fruit must be partially thaw not completely frozen
Product is not what i was thinking. But it is great and fruits taste really good with a little honey and crushed gram crackers. Comes out looking like soft serve ice cream but better for you. Not to badly made , should hold up over time. A 5 yr old can disassemble and reassemble it.

Poor design, broke after a few uses
This product has a terrible design. We used to have a Yonanas machine that we liked, and over the years it wore down. We bought this to replace it and immediately thought that all the downward pressure you must apply to get the frozen fruit through it would break the front piece off the base. After maybe 3 uses at most, it broke off as anticipated. I have no idea why it was created this way, with an arm extending out of the main body, where you apply a LOT of pressure every time you use it. Try a different machine that is made to withstand the pressure. Other reviewers have said that you should thaw your fruit first and yes, that will help the longevity of your machine. Perhaps we used fruit that was too frozen or my husband pushed too hard on it when it broke but either way, it’s a sensitive machine you have to be careful with and I’d rather go with another brand/design.

Not as easy as it seems... seriously
I was so excited to get this product, especially for the price, but the annoyance of it is not worth it. So many things to be aware of. First, I got the product and my husband and I immediately froze one banana and a pint of blueberries. When they were frozen, we tried it out. The banana came out great, but the blueberries were another story. I was surprised that it looked like the amount of blueberries in the bowl didn't match the pint, and after the machine stopped spitting out sorbet, I took it apart to clean it. I was so frustrated by the amount of waste in terms of blueberry skin, which is healthy for you, and all the blueberries stick around the engine in the machine. It was such a waste. I figured maybe this would be better buying bags of frozen fruit. WRONG! The next day I went to Target and got two three pound bags of sliced frozen fruit, which was not cheap. The moment I put a piece of frozen peach in it got stuck, and I had to take apart the whole machine. I tried again... same thing. Then I realized I had to cut the already cut fruit into even smaller pieces, which took a 5 minute activity and turned it into a 20 min activity. Nonetheless, I was willing to try. I found that the machine was finally working, but the amount of force it took to push the fruit down was shocking! I am a female lifter who can curl 40 lb dumbbells, and I was running out of strength. My wrist actually hurt after. It was very annoying that every time I pulled the pusher thing up, I had to use my fingers to scrape all the frozen fruit off. Finally, I was finished and I took the machine apart to clean it, only to find two strawberries and one banana stuck to the inside of the machine as well as one whole tablespoon of frozen fruit stuck where the sorbet comes out. This is a great concept and I guess I will use it when I want a sweet treat and I am looking for a workout, but I would never buy this again and I think the advertisement is VERY misleading in terms of use and ease of us.

Simple to use
I washed and used this as soon as it was delivered and it did not disappoint. I do think I overloaded it the first use by doing a whole freezer container full of frozen fruit. Definitely let the fruit sit out for 5-10 minutes to let it soften a bit. As long as you do that, it will work great. It's a great alternative to ice cream; which I could eat everyday. I have tried just bananas, blueberries & bananas, peaches & bananas & bananas with cocoa powder. Everything has been delicious!

This is the best thing since sliced bananas!!
LOVE that I can make “ice cream” for my kids they really enjoy and it’s healthy! It is very delicious and your imagination is the only limit to how delicious this “ice cream”. What I usually do is have a few different bags of frozen fruit and of course bananas, in the freezer all the time. I recommend peeling and cutting the banana in 1/3s first before freezing. It can be a big hassle to peel after they’re frozen. After I’m done with the fruit, I add just a touch of cream and vanilla and quickly fold it in. Another thing I recommend is to place a metal mixing bowl in the freezer also so it keeps it from melting while you either add stuff to it or making more. The addition of cream (or milk) and vanilla really takes this to another level of deliciousness and doesn’t add anything unhealthy (as I said, I only add a couple Tbsp of cream). This is by far one of the things I think every parent should own if they want to make healthier substitutions for their children’s diet. Plus my kids ask for it time and again!!

Buy it if using once in awhile for 1-2 people
It works but you have to be gentle with it. And it takes awhile before it grinds the fruits. It does get the job done but hopefully you're not planning to do it for alot of people

Moteur assez fort.Je le conseil!Je met tout ds le lave vaisselle!

Great convenient product for DIY sorbet!
I absolutely love this product! It was a great solution for all the frozen fruit I had in my freezer. It was very simple to set up and quick to use! The pieces come apart so easily for cleaning the machine afterwards. The sorbet was the perfect consistency and I can't wait to try more recipes!
