Answer is only true for the "Carbon" color case with the orange keys - the "Classic" (white case and white keys with blue underlighting shown in the image) uses Fn+Delete to turn the lighting on and off. Of the two versions sold by Amazon on this page, neither has RGB lighting.

if I don't want to use bluetooth, can I disable the transmitter and use usb-c only?

Yes! Just keep the dongle in the board, flip the switch to “G” to ensure Bluetooth is not on, and plug the cable in!

How to reset backlit mode? For some unknown reason the left side is only portion lit.
