I've purchased around 5 of the magliner hand trucks from amazon and at least three or four of them have broken at different points on the hand truck, which leads me believe these are not authentic magliner. I have been in the trucking industry for almost 20 years and have always used magliner brand and I have not experienced them breaking like this until I purchased from this company listed on amazon.

So I've been on the fence about buying this magliner cart but i went on and made the purchase, well as i read from another review that it came when it said it would BUT! after opening the box and start assembling it. it was missing parts well GD i needed to use the cart at work ASAP but i can't so i called Magliner directly and they were kind enough to send me the two missing parts for free right away instead of going through Amazon. so if you buy this cart expect to have missing parts. ( don't waste your time going through Amazon to get the missing parts)

It's necessary for me to move delicate but bulky medical diagnostic instruments among several locations. Over the years I have used flat bed garden wagons and a cart called the rock n roller which although a beautiful concept fails in the real world during to poor execution. I'm in my 70s and really needed a strong and easy to move cart for transporting my equipment. The magliner sr is it. This hand truck/ cart has amazingly low rolling resistance and is very stout and made of high grade components. It's very easy to move my instruments with this cart. My only gripe is the small radius of the casters. These 5" casters are difficult to get over high thresholds and create jolts when rolling over spaces between concrete sidewalk slabs. I punched the casters with rubber tyres but this didn't fix things. I believe a larger diameter caster would smooth out the sidewalk cracks and ease high thresholds. Perhsps the manufacturer will offer in the future. All in all, a tremendously good cart.

As a General Contractor we move a lot of tools daily. I have had various carts over the years, but none with the quality of the Magline. Well constructed, fairly light for its size. Opens and closes easily. If there was anything I would do different I should have verified the height. Its about a foot taller than what I expected so its a little hard to fit in my van however the extra length does come in handy. Highly recommend.

Needed a convertible hand truck to transport stage and sound equipment in and out of a cargo trailer. Shopping criteria was it had to be 100% reliable. Already familiar with Magline quality, it was a clear choice, absolutely no regrets. Some assembly is required but if you have some basic hand tools, no problem. There was a minor manufacturing issue but a brief email to Gemini customer service and a replacement part was promptly sent and worked perfectly, A+ customer service. The hand truck converts to platform in seconds, is heavy duty throughout and unlike similar products, there are no plastic parts at stress points, should last for many years.

Magliner carts are beyond comparison to similar products. The build quality, materials & design will give you a industrial class product that offers up year after year of trouble free service. Worth every penny but be sure to secure it with a cable lock when not in use ... We use them in the entertainment industry and have lost two over the past decade or so due to theft on a show site. Funny thing is, lesser quality carts (home center quality) are left alone, even a thief appreciates the difference.These carts are worth buying ... Superior American materials, design & build.

The Ferrari of hand trucks! It's as tall as me and wished I got the Jr version but amazing product. Light for what it is and the convertible ability is nice and large to haul large things with ease. Every time I use it, other delivery people notice with envy.For the price, I wished it came with lockable wheels and the oem lockable wheels sold separately are a mixed bag. When my events go back to normal, this will make life so much easier.

We now have three of these hand trucks and they are incredibly durable and maneuverable. If I had a critique of this item it would be that the tires are inflatable. On all three of our hand trucks we have replaced the pneumatic wheels with solid rubber tires. A fully loaded hand truck with a flat tire is difficult to use at best. This is an exceptional tool for anyone needing to move large loads in tight spaces. Very functional and easy to collapse and store. The vendor shipped to Alaska quicker than you would believe. Five stars is not enough!
