Wish the music stand would rotate to present the music at an angle to the piano
The instructions are not worth much, but it is easy enough to figure out using the pictures on the Amazon site. One of the things not covered is the fact of which is the top and which is the bottom of the stand? Unless you have used something like this before it is a good question. If you look at the open X you will notice that only one foot has a blue foot. That section is the bottom of the unit. The Blue foot is odd shaped to allow you to rotate it to balance the other three feet for a level playing and stable playing surface. The rubber ends on the top side of the unti slide back and forth allowing you to mount the sheet music stand. The problem with the entire thing is that it is build for a right handed person. So, what else is new?The music stand is much better than the one included on the piano keyboard in that it has clips to hold the music open to the correct page. If you are using a book or sheet music where there is any wind, the clips make a world of difference. I would use this over the piano sheet holder anyway. The pivot point of the unit that allows it to fold flat or to open to various heights i two adjustment levers, one on each X of the unit. if you loot at picture three you will notice that there are indents that the unit locks into when you tighten it which Keeps the unit from moving once set. This provides a very stable playing surface. The keyboard I am using is a full 88 key keyboard. So, this works with both shorter and full size keyboards. The only thing that would make this nicer besides the ability to rotate the music stand to present it at an angle would be shoulder bag for carrying and storing.I am VERY pleased with this stand and would recommend it.

i wouldn't use it for gigging a lot
Fresh out of the box there were cracks in the the joint pieces, the pieces that connect the legs to the arms. I put it back in the box and returned it. Didn’t even want to try it on one gig, let alone using it every gig (4-6 a month) and the abuse it would take from load in, load out. I still use keyboard stands from Ultimate Support and QuickLok that I bought 25 years ago! They only have cosmetic wear (scratches, etc) but no stress or damage to the vital parts (arms, legs, column). If this one didn’t have the cracks already in those parts, I might’ve kept it strictly for home use, but definitely NOT gig with this stand full time, especially if you’re put your $3500 keyboard on it! As usual, YMMV.

Sturdy Keyboard Stand
I got this for my wife to use with our other keyboard, since my daughter got a new keyboard, and stole the stand, seat, and everything else for her room. This is comparable quality to other stands we've had. It sets up and adjusts super easy. I'm not a huge fan of the little music holder. When you put it on, it goes onto the arms that hold the keyboard. There's enough room for it to attach at the back, but it just feels very minimalist. It works and will surely hold a music book or a few pages of sheet music. I have metal music stands that are much nicer, and I can just stand one right behind the keyboard. One leg has a blue foot on it. In some pictures from other reviewers, they have the whole thing upside down, lol. The blue foot is a cam shaped rubber foot. You can rotate this blue one to help level the stand on uneven floors. Works great, just looks really silly seeing people put the feet of this stand upwards, lol.It has big teeth on the leg adjusters, and they grab firm. It's a sturdy stand, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one again.

Pretty good stand
I like this stand. It was easy to put together and now easy to fold and put back up again. I am an amateur musician and like to play multiple instruments. My main is trumpet but I also like playing the keyboard. This is a very sturdy stand and does not wobble while banging on the keyboard. With the music holder, I can adjust it so I can read music while standing and playing the trumpet or lower it for sitting at the keyboard. My goal is I am teaching my grandson to play the keyboard so we can duet at the same time by using the included music holder and the one on the keyboard at the same time. What I like is the sturdy design and the large levers to lock and unlock for setup and takedown. I also like the music holder. it has a generous back. The only thing I don't like about this is the holder. The back is good, but the base of the holder could be a little deeper. My swing band book doesn't fit and wants to fall off. It's a large 3 ring binder full of music sheets. It does have page keepers, but that is my second gripe. They are very inadequate. They are loose for single sheets or even thin music books to hold open. They do the job, but barely. My overall impression of the stand is very good. I can live with those two small objections of the music holder. Musicians that play outdoors have plenty of clothes pins.

Perfect for a Korg B2 digital piano
My wife has a Korg B2 piano that she is using to learn how to play. She originally ordered it without a stand, so she was using it on a desk. But that was not the ideal solution since the height of the desk was not adjustable. So when I saw this stand by IA, I thought it would be perfect for her piano. Fortunately I was right. It is very stable when playing, which is the most important requirement for a good piano stand. It also comes with a sheet music holder. If you're looking for a quality piano stand at a great price, I highly recommend this model.

Great for weighted piano
The keyboard stand is great for my weighted piano. My piano is about 33 lb and the stand holds the weight very well. I didn't have to assemble the stand itself. I just have to adjust the height by twisting the handles on both sides. The piano does not slide at all. It is quite easy to assemble the music sheet holder. I took it off since my piano comes with one.

I broke down and ordered a portable keyboard.
Apartment living doesn't lend itself to a real piano and I haven't played in years but I broke down and ordered a portable keyboard. It worked fine but was a bit awkward to use without a stand. This does the job. Sturdy enough and a real plus is that it folds down and can be hidden away in a closet when there is company so no space is wasted.
