I have a medical condition which causes my body to release histamines when I take a shower and also stress situations. I added this cream to my regimen of an antihistamine and ibuprofen before showering. Even with the medications I would still itch after a shower, although not as bad. I tried this cream after showering and it did the trick. I am not a huge fan of the smell but it does disappear after a while. This has helped enormously and taking a shower is no longer such an ordeal.
