Beautiful glass base with wooden lid. Holds a full stick of butter. The Lid had a silicone band that ensures an airtight fit and is also removable for easy cleaning.Great product would definitely buy again!

This butter dish is great because it’s wide so I can fit 2 sticks of butter side-by-side, and the lid keeps dust and crumbs out (and it would definitely keep bugs out; whenever there’s a pesky fly in my kitchen I was always worried about it landing in my butter). I like having my butter soft and at room temperature, so it’s more easily spreadable, and I think it even tastes better since it’s not absorbing smells from inside the fridge. The functionality is great as well. The dish is easy to keep clean because its dishwasher safe. The lid is easy to remove and there’s a grippy ring so it fits snugly over the dish. It’s pretty too.

This comes with a rubber seal around the lid, it makes the dish air tight but also harder to open. I took it off and then the lid just sits on the dish. Holds 2 sticks of butter well. If you use butter a lot, this is great because of the 2 stick capacity. Easy to clean the porcelain dish in dishwasher or by hand, but the wood lid should be hand washed only. Looks very nice on the counter opposed to my old clear plastic one.

It's still worth the money, the lid is nice and heavy and durable wood, but it seems like it's got a little bit of a weak seal so it opens kind of easily. The seal can totally be replaced though if you really want to make sure it's on there good. Do NOT pick this container up by the top alone, because the bottom will fall right off and hit the floor.Most of the weight is in the lid itself, porcelain feels a little light but that's ok. I thought the bottom would be heavier type porcelain.Super cute handmade look to it though and if you don't ever drop it, you'll have it for years lol. ; )

Cute butter dish. Will hold 4 sticks of butter. Nice country looking dish.

This butter dish has a wooden cover that adds to its attractiveness. Large enough to hold two east coast butter cubes, and about 1 1/2 west coast cubes. But don't put the wooden cover in the dishwasher. Better to hand wash the ceramic dish as well.

Love this butter container. Glass bowl, wooden lid made very well. Was recommended to me by a family member for homemade butter. Cute addition to your kitchen.
