I don't think it will remove much of the rust if you "flush" it through the radiator. You'd need to allow time for the liquid to sit and react with the interior surfaces (8-12 hours), then flush it out. **Q: Can this be mixed with water or something ? Or do I have to buy 15 gallons to submerge my motorcycle gas tank** A: Fill your tank up with rinsed grave, stainless steel BBs or vibratory Sander media and a little bit of water, then shake the bejesus out of it. Rinse, repeat until you're satisfied. Do the last rinse with hot, hot water to heat up the tank, then dump it. The heat will evaporate the water. **Q: Can this be put on with a pump sprayer** A: It needs time to remove the rust. I guess it could be put on with a pump sprayer but it needs to stay wet to work and you might be using a lot of product to achieve that. ## Frequently Bought Together - POR-15 Rust Remover, Rust Dissolving Solution, Reusable and Biodegradable, 128 Fluid Ounces - POR-15 Metal Prep, Metal Etching Rust Neutralizer, Non-flammable and Water-based, 32 Fluid Ounces, 1-quart - POR-15 Cleaner Degreaser, Non-flammable and Water Based, Removes Grease, Oil and Surface Debris, 1-quart --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://jersey.desertcart.com/products/377120425-por-15-40701-rust-remover-1-gallons](https://jersey.desertcart.com/products/377120425-por-15-40701-rust-remover-1-gallons) --- *Product available on Desertcart Jersey* *Store origin: JE* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
