Yes, these are small. But they will work perfectly with my favorite type of crochet project. I mostly crochet with size 2 nylon thread. It comes on a spool. I can put probably 4-6 spools in one of these. Depending on how full the spools are. I will be able to stick it in my purse or project bag quite easily. I bought 8. I can plan future projects and keep them all organized. Very excited about this purchase!!

They smaller than I expected and now I am very pleased with the size. Perfect for the yarn ball currently with a project. Also perfect to put notions and doo-dad's needed with work to take with me, or to have handy whether I am on the go or in the next room. Love them! Going to get more for gifts.

I bought these baskets for a two sock at one time project and didn't want to use the wrong skein. As others noted these baskets are definitely small. I'm using worsted weight yarn, about 210 yards and it fits comfortably. Do not purchase if you're using bulky weight yarn, yarn wound in a LARGE cake or a yarn skein that is horizontal, for example, Red Heart, they definitely will be too big.

These are very small. Use one to hold leftover yarn balls that are about tennis ball or smaller size(2-3) and one to hold 1 skein of yarn in a ball for a project. Use them in conjunction with my 2 large knitting bags. Would be cute to hold other things as a gift.

I really like these round storage totes because they are small and don’t take up much space on the floor. I really like the open pouch on the top of the large bag, that’s a great yarn bag

This is the tiniest yarn bag I have ever seen if you plan on putting a red heart sized standard 6 Or 7 oz can of yarn in there you're gonna be cramming it in Because it's just too small this is a joke this is a gag gift 4 knitters

They are really small. Won't hold much yarn at all. Will have to find something else to use them for.

Great little bag to keep my dogs from tangling my yarn! Also a must for travel if you knit in the car. You always know where the yarn is and it doesn't tangle as when you "dig" in your knitting bag. Great price too. Others like this cost $$$ and are no better. Highly recommended!
