Unique floor lamp was an early Christmas gift, at the request of the friend who received it. She immediately put it together without any difficulty, and moved it upstairs to her sewing room/office. It looks great and works very well! She could not be happier, which (of course) makes me happy too. Gives great light to help her with detailed work, but is dimmable and can be toned down if she so desires. Thank you!

One of the light fixtures was broken from the pole and a light bulb was smashed. It looked like it was already returned once before.

Had the industrial look I wanted and the ability to brighten or dim the lighting.

I like the style of the this light. I like that the lights are dimmable.

Holy smokes, the packaging of this lamp is top notch! Even the included Edison light bulbs (individually boxed) are glued in place to prevent any shifting during handling, as was the packaging surrounding the weighted base. I actually had to cut the base out if it's packaging from inside the box because I could not pull it out! When screwing the upright pole pieces together, it goes more smoothly if you hold the cord against the pole and turn the exposed cord along with the pole as you screw each new pole extention piece on. I started at the base bottom first and worked my way to the top where the light fixtures dangle so I did not need to turn the light fixtures when screwing on pole sections. Only once I had the pole pieces fully together, did I then screw the upright pole into the weighted base. I prefer the on/off switch on the upright pole as to a floor foot touch switch. I really like the style of this lamp. It has an industrial look, however the shiny gold makes it look classy and modern to me. I have a similar lamp in all black because I like this style so much!

This lamp is a combination of Edison bulbs - nice and bright - and what reminds me of a birdcage.The triple bulb design provides plenty of light for a small space - corner of a bedroom, etc..Assembly includes inserting horizontal tubes into the upright center post and secure them with small set screws using a provided Allen wrench. It wasn't especially hard to do, but make sure you loosen the screws before you try to insert the tubes. You won't be able to seat them securely without doing this first.The entire unit stands up straight, even on carpeted flooring, and I like that.The one thing that really causes me to ding this product is that they obviously cheaped out when it came to the hanging baskets that house the bulbs. I mean, what's attractive about exposed electrical cord?! They could have easily masked that hanging cord with a lightweight chain, and that would have looked really nice.At the same time, I do like the fact that the power cord runs down the middle of the center post, and it emerges only at lamp base.It wasn't easy to see exactly what the hanging cordage looked like online, and for this reason, I do not recommend this product. It just doesn't look as nice as it should.3 stars
