Nice collet
I only buy the sizes I need rather than an entire set so this works for me

M12 drawbar thread
Decent collet but as others have noted - it's a non-standard M12 drawbar thread! If you're in the US this probably won't work out of the box for you. Either bore it out and press in a sleeve, make a "special" drawbar, or buy something else...

Does not work! Threads are the wrong size!!!
Been using R8 collet tools for quite some time and should have known better than to go for a discount tool. While this one fit the spindle the threads are ABSOLUTELY WRONG!!! If I try to tighten it it will surely mess up the threads. I checked against a variety of known good ones and this is the only one that’s bad so yes, I’ve double checked. I’ll go back to ordering machine tools from my known suppliers. I’ll toss this one in the scrap bin because I know by the time I’m charged “restocking fees” it’s already paid for. All the better to prevent someone from the same headache. I WOULD NOT BUY FROM THIS MERCHANT AGAIN, it was useless crap!

Internal threading was not 7/16-20
Purchased this collet awhile ago, but finally tried to use it. Could not get the drawbar to thread into collet. Tried a different collet, drawbar threaded no problem. I again tried the 1/2" collet and again it would not thread onto the drawbar. Using a SAE thread gauge I determined this collet was not a 7/16-20 internal thread. I assume it is a metric thread, because none of my SAE thread gauges worked.

Looked used
Pretty rough even for chinesiem steel. A handstone was used all over it. I'll use it for an emergency collet. Correction....pos tapped 7/16-14 instead of 7/16-20.
