Back when I was a young, single stud, fresh out of the Army, I bought a bright yellow Porsche 914. Of course, marriage and children changed all that. No way a two-seat car would serve our needs. Anyway, I had the car five years and sold it for more than I paid for it. So many great memories driving that 5-speed stick. So, while I'm not buying another 914, I now have this gear-shift conversation-piece momento, which is the exact quality as the original. Told the wife, maybe I'll start to build the car, one piece at a time.
