Allow me to introduce you to Dierdre - our new dinosaur (said nobody ever).She is a sturdy plastic dinosaur with movable body parts and solid wide feet so she stands up unaided. You can make her top half wave from side to side by wiggling the tail and there is a trigger underneath the tail to make the jaws open and close.A red button on top of the tail makes her eyes narrow so she looks angry and makes her upper jaw extend down so she appears to be snarling. The body has six positions, although Dierdre can't really stand fully upright because her tail gets in the way - but she can still balance on it with her tippy toes (again, said nobody ever).It must be noted this toy makes zero noises; this pleases me greatly, but if your kid wants something that growls menacingly at them, this won't do the job. But it's a great toy for imaginative play and is really quite big and not at all flimsy.So far, Dierdre has attempted to chomp breakfast cereal, a mobile phone and my niece's hair. I like Dierdre a great deal for this ability alone. She can stay with us forever and keep the kids in line...A great toy, definitely worth a buy for any dinosaur fan and even comes with no annoying plastic ties and twine to faff about with - simply twist and pull off the two plastic plates holding the toy to the cardboard box and you're good to go.

For any dinosaur loving kid who has a good imagination this is a really great toy…Its chunky enough to stand up on its feet has the following features all operated from the tail end of the dinosaur:- Push the tail up and down to raise and lower the dinosaurs head- Move the tail left and right to move the dinosaurs head left and right- Pull the trigger under the tail to open and close the dinosaurs mouth in a chomping action- Push the red button at the top of the tail to initiate angry mode!My 3 and 6 year old sons had no fun out of the dinosaur but my kids like action, creativity and technology and this toy offers none of those things.My experience however was an enjoyable one…I kept slowly moving the dinosaur towards my lazy, sleeping cats… hand on the dinosaurs tail controls… proceeding to make the dinosaurs head reach high up into the air, swathing left and right on its ascent, flicking the red button to initiate angry mode and start a chomping motion while edging slowly towards the cats.The dinosaur took a few slashes and clouts to the face to say the least!

The good thing about Fisher-Price toys is you know that they are always going to be good quality.This toy has been really well designed so that it can be used by children of a number of different ages. My son is still only young, and this is the perfect size for his toddler hands. No batteries are required and all of the different functions of the toys can be operated using the buttons on the back and tail of the dinosaur.It’s just the right level of scary for my son in that he will giggle in delight when it chases him but he won’t cry and get upset by it.It has big feet so standby itself. The arms move, when positioned. The head and tail are in sync so that when you move one in one direction the other will move in the opposite direction.There are two buttons, the red one on the dinosaurs back makes the dinosaur look angry and the lever on the tail when pulled Will open and close the dinosaurs mouth.All in all a very good toy, well designed and sturdy we’ve had no damages or breakages yet and my son is quite boisterous when he plays. My 3 year old loves dinosaurs and so many toys these days you press a button and the toy does all the work, whereas with this you can move the arms and legs yourself, they're easy to move and click at each stage so they stay where they're positioned. There's also a trigger on the tail to open and close the mouth, and a button on top of the tail to bare the top teeth and make the dinosaur close its eyes a little. My son loves it. Really happy with this toy.
