Help with weak cable signal

Great Signal Splitter
I installed this with a Pingbingding digital outdoor antenna and the combination works great. I currently have 5 tv's connected to the splitter and get perfect signal's to each tv.

Can't get it to work.
Hooked up and it did not work although green (ok) light came on. Is the 75 ohm terminator necessary for this to work when not using the Modem Passive Port? Quality is evident. Maybe I need some direction regarding terminator. Direct TV hookup

Works with cable tv and antenna
Spectrum left this after I discontinued cable tv service with them. When a mounted a GE 29884 antenna on my roof, I connected the antenna to this powered splitter and 3 tv sets in my house. I am about 35 miles from our local broadcast towers and I am able to receive 61 tv stations, including several from another city where the towers are about 55 miles from my house.
