Sure, lots of knives are sharp (this one is too), but this one looks and feels good while it's cutting. Display these knives, don't put them in a drawer.

i generally like this knife very much, it's easy to handle and use, not too heavy and i wanted a chefs knife with this blade length and in this design. it works to my expectations and beyond. i gave it 4 stars because it wasn't as sharp out of the box as i think a kitchen knife should be. a chef's knife should be ready to go out of the box. i had to put an edge on this knife before using. is this every ergo knife out of the box that needs help? i don't know but this one did. once the edge was restored we got along fine and worked in the kitchen together, no problems. i would recommend this knife for any home chef.

Excellent balance and great sharpness

The v2.0 keeps sharp much longer than my v1.0 knife. I wish it has the old handle angle on v1.0 though. V2 is flatter and not as comfortable as v1.

Gave each of my sons one for Christmas. They are cooks in different restaurants. They both love them
