Bucilla Felt Applique 6 Piece Ornament Making Kit, Butterfly Garden, Perfect for DIY Arts and Crafts, 89488E

Once again I found that Bucilla did not include enough clear beads! There were plenty in the pkgs but so many were fused shut or broken that I had to use others I had saved from previous kits! Their products have been sloppy in the supplies provided, lately.I used c-Lon thread for the antennae, much simpler than included instructions.

I am making them right now. They are pretty easy to make if you've made other ornaments.There are a lot of sequins to attach. Very tedious. I would have liked more embroidery, a little more challenging.I do find the directions in some of the Bucilla kits lacking specific directions. You can call them for clarification but who wants to do that?I hang them from a mirror in my hallway. I change then for each season. They do look exactly like the photo on the kit.

I've been using Bucilla kits for well over 30 years and the quality just gets worse. This kit did not contain the butterfly antenna, the necessary chenille sticks or alligator clips called for in the instructions. They were very sparse on the number of sequins they give you (barely enough to finish), the bag of blue ones contained dozens of aqua and black ones, and the clear seed beads contained a lot of broken or misshapen beads. Many of the felt pieces had black smudges on them. Whatever happened to quality control? If it weren't for all the time and effort I've already put in, I would definitely have returned them.

I purchased Bucilla ‘butterfly garden’ felt kit and there were not enough black sequins to complete the butterflies, this was very disappointing as I have now had to purchase extra to complete this the kit
