Kichler Braelyn 9.5" Wall Sconce in Olde Bronze®, 1-Light Industrial Wall Mount with Clear Seeded Glass, (9.5" H x 5" W), 45457OZ

After replacing a similar, brand new $50 fixture with this, I am ecstatic. The original fixture was flimsy, nearly impossible to install, and poorly designed. This thing feels like it is machined from solid brass (it isn't, but it is STURDY), was a breeze to install thanks to the clear instructions and simple mounting design, and is NOT going to budge once mounted. The glass globe even has 3 holes so that the set screws go through it--you won't crack it from over tightening!For anyone else considering this light but leery of the price tag: DO IT. It's worth every penny.

This is a beautiful fit in our attic remodel bathroom. The house downstairs is all turn of the century, so the more modern touch of this in the newer looking remodel upstairs is awesome. The light is perfect over the bathroom mirror. The chrome is solid and has a high quality look as does the glass. I would definitely suggest a 60 watt edison bulb of the brightest tone unless you are looking for a lower light accent. Haven't tried a regular bulb in it, but the edison squirrel style bulb looks great !

This light fixture has a very modern look and has received many compliments from guests. It looks especially good with some edison style bulbs. I chose to use some narrower tube style bulbs, but I also had some of the traditional form factor edison bulbs around the house. I figured I'd see if the traditional ones fit; they did, but only just. If you're planning to use that style bulb, save your receipt just in case you have to try another brand.When the package arrived, the box had some mild damage leading me to check the contents immediately. The styrofoam inside sufficiently protected the fixture and glass shades without issue.My only disappointment is a minor workmanship issue. The ceramic sockets that the bulbs screw into were not exactly aligned with the fixture itself, so one of the bulbs is noticeably (to me) crooked with respect to the shade and the fixture. Unfortunately, the sockets are firmly glued into the fixture itself, so I was unable to realign the socket without fear of destroying it.All said, I am happy with my purchase.

We installed this fixture in our "industrial modern" half bathroom about a month ago. Installation went smoothly and it looks bright and beautiful - definitely the right fixture for a small bathroom with no other light source. The bulbs we originally used were too yellow, and when we went to replace them with clearer bulbs we realized it is a bit of a hassle to replace the bulbs because it involves taking out the 9 screws to remove the glass canisters and then put it all back again. It was not difficult, just a little more time consuming. Not a deal breaker, and we would buy this light fixture again.

While I like the fixture, do know that the glass globe is enclosed on the underside, which makes it very challenging to change the light bulb. Because the bottom of the globe is enclosed, it is necessary to remove the glass globe before inserting a light bulb. The mechanism for attaching the globe to the fixture is quite "fiddly" and, I imagine, very difficult to accomplish with even a slight impairment in the fingertips.Not a practical design at all, but I like the way it looks and so I will keep it.Update 3-11-17: Unfortunately, the chrome base has become pitted after only seven months. I am very disappointed in the quality of this light. I do not recommend.

We purchased two of these Kichler wall sconces for a small half bath. They replaced what had to be 1950's or 60's wall sconces. The Kichler sconces look amazing with the soft glowing Edison bulbs. This simple change has almost transformed the bathroom and the quartz vanity has not even been installed! Good quality, good price. Very happy. One of our favorite light purchases ever!

Poor quality control on these lights. I bought two. Once I had wired and mounted the first one I realized the light fixture was quite noticeably not aligned with the wall plate. The light had to be removed taken apart and the face holes needed to be redrilled to make the light bar hang in alignment with the base. Same with light number two!! Plus one of the decorative globe mounting screws had damaged threads so it would not screw on. I had to rethread the screw... 3 1/2 hours later they are up. If I could have waited another two weeks I would have returned the pair.

Love these sconces on our shiplap wall. Bought Amber Edison lights to go with them. They are slim and very attractive.

For the dramatic effect in my newly upgraded powder room. I put wallpaper in that space and needed 3 light bulbs to replace the existing 2 bulbs. Wallpaper kinda made the powder room darker / dimmer.... this new light fixture is very bright, used with Edison bulbs.

Arrived quickly and they look great!
