Cannot beat the price
Not the thickest plastic so I was nervous at first but these worked just fine!!

Great sturdy plastic!
These are very thick and much better than the thin urinals. I purchased 2 and will be buying more.

7 1/2 month daily usage review.
Firstly, I want to get more specific about the circumstances and extent of my use to give a better idea of the actual amount of wear I've put on these in the time I've owned them...I share a restroom with 5 other roommates on paper but 7 people functionally (2 of them have girlfriends that are here most of the time). I am disabled, so when not over at my sister's house I am home most of the time. I don't take these with me when I go to my sister's as they are unnecessary there* (recently began to do so with one of them). This works out to me having access to these about 2/3 of the time. I've found that when at home I use them more than the actual restroom. Which is to say 5-10 times a day depending on how much fluids I've had. Yes, I know that's a lot. But I've recently gotten blood tests back and am not diabetic, pre-diabetic or having any kidney/liver issues. So, I don't know. I just drink a lot of fluids and pee a lot *shrugs*I thought that they might be difficult to clean. But as it turns out, sloshing about 200ml of warm water in them twice, followed by a cool water rinse does the trick to eliminate any odor. However, if let to sit for a few days (like when I forgot one at my sister's house) they do stain. At which point they have a ruine scale on them that needs to be removed with a bottle/toilet brush. Also, it appears that just rinsing them was fine for the first 3 months. But at about the 5 month mark they started to slightly discolor from a film on the inside. Had I cleaned them with say soap and water once a week instead of only ever rinsing them, this might not have happened. When I initially bought these my first concern was that they might be too small. But it turns out I can use one 4-5 times on average before it needs emptying. I also thought that the way the lid is attached might present a few issues. So far it has not. That little band of plastic that acts as a hinge doesn't get flexed enough in normal use to wear and snap within 3-5 months. However, at the 6th to 7th mark I found that one lid band had broken and the other was not hanging on by much. When unbroken the lid holds open well enough (with the thumb placed on the underside of that tab and the first finger hooked under the handle it's rather ergonomic). The lid also can be flopped to the side easily enough and stays there. Once they break off. It's surprisingly a lot less convenience to use as I have to find a place to set the lid. While glowing in the dark might seem gimmicky. It actually helps a lot. When I wake up from a dead sleep and flick my dim light on my eyes are not adjusted to much of anything and it's still dark under the bed where I keep these. Even if their glow is only faint by the time I go for them it actually does help to pick them out from the surrounding environment.I had also felt that the snap of the lids was too tight and that the pressure it took to close them might damage the container as it feels a little flimsy. But clever shaping makes it stronger than it feels sometimes. When you actually push on the part the lid says to push it's fine. The only problem with the lids so far (and this goes for both of them so I think it's more likely a design flaw than a defect) is that they are not exactly water tight. Filling to the last line (1000ml) is effectively over filling. Technically if laid on it's long side, while being still and level, it will perfectly hold 1000ml without cusping the rim. So, in theory the lid is just an odor and evaporation stopper from big splashes. In practice containers with liquid slosh when you move them. Even when being careful. And when these slosh, a few drips will come out if some hits the lid. If it were over filled significantly (which I did once) the drip would be constant until the level dropped below the rim. They drip from the rim at about a rate of 2-3 drops a second. So realistically it can only be filled to 700-750ml before normal amounts of sloshing will make it start to drip whenever some hits the lid. It's worth noting that when filled to capacity and stood upright, there are no such issues. And that it stands upright fairly well. Especially with weight in it. But it is harder to knock over if laid down. I don't trust it upright because if knocked over and not noticed. It could end up leaking quite a bit. Though I am confident the lid would not come off on it's own. They just have leaky lids. But the lids do stay on.No design is flawless. This could be fixed on the manufacturer end with a thin O-ring the diameter of the rim or a bead of silicon possibly. It likely wouldn't add much to the production cost either. I do know that a rubber band doesn't quite do the trick (I tired). If you keep the design flaw in mind (not over filling it and setting it down on a towel). It's not much of a problem. But it is a shortcoming of the product. Something I would imagine should have been part of quality control to find and manufacturing to fix before the product ever left a factory. It's really the only reason I can't give the product a full 5 stars. I can't even knock it up to 'You get what you pay for.' Because not leaking is bare minimum for a closeable liquid container. In order of priorities, not leaking from any part should come before the lid glowing in the dark are ml/oz markings on the side. Not leaking under normal expected usage is a proof-of-concept stage element. It's the first thing that should come after "it has a lid". Even before whether or not the lid is attached.$9.69 was my total for this product (2 of these 1000ml containers). For that price the design flaw (as it happens with both of them I think the chances are higher that it is a designed flaw as opposed to a defect) isn't bad enough to cause me to return it. Like I said, awareness and a paper towel or rag is the workaround here. So, I can work with it without too much inconvenience. But 2 Gatorade bottles would be half the price and those won't leak, even if you turn them upside down. That makes their direct unintentional competitor, leftover disposable sports drink bottles. Yeah these have a few more features like a handle and glow in the dark lid that's attached. But Gatorade bottles hold piss better. So....weigh that out before purchasing. Now at the 7 and a half month mark (I initially wrote this review at the 3 month mark and have updated it). I feel as if it's time to get new ones. One lid has had it's band snapped, the other is nearly there. one bottle did develop a slight seam crack in the handle (it amounts to the tip of the handle being occasionally moist). And stains have formed in spots where It's hard to clean them. So, I will likely not update this review further (unless the quality of the product has changed in the interim). But...They're good enough for me to have bought them twice and put what can be considered heavy use on them for over 6 months before needed a new pair.

One lid did not close firmly
Bought these for my elderly father. Bought a two-pack. Product overall was only moderately sturdy (a little give when you hold them, and the plastic hinges holding the lids on were thin), and don’t know yet how well the lids glow in the dark, BUT on one of the two bottles, the lid did not stay on very well and could easily get bumped open and spill. Keeping them though cause we need them now.
