Incorrect Spark Plug for 2010 EZGO RXV with Kawasaki Engine - $126 Repair Bill
We have a 2010 EZGO RXV cart with a Kawasaki engine, so this tune-up kit should have the correct parts. The engine was running erratically, so I took it in to an EZGO dealer for service. The EZGO mechanic changed the spark plug (correctly gapped) from the unbranded and apparently incorrectly spec'd plug in this kit to the NGK spark plug recommended by Kawasaki, which fixed the problem.I tried to save a little time and money buying this tune-up kit, but it ended up costing me $126 in parts and service charges and at least 5 hours of my time. It was a bit of a drive to the nearest EZGO dealer - or to anyone else who could service this engine. When I picked up the cart, I purchased a tune-up kit from the dealer with an NGK plug for $40 for next year. I do not recommend this product.
