Kind of a life saver for camping / drill
I am a cautious eater who avoids much of the processed food world. So, when on trips / camping / drill I have to be very cautious about camping meals / MREs as there are often things in there that can ruin a trip for me. When the combination of work (effort) and available food options put me in a situation where I am not getting enough calories from things I know I can safely eat, these are the ticket. I've warmed a few and that works well but most of them have been eaten cold from the pouch. Dump some tuna / chicken / ground beef in the pouch, add a little hot sauce and I am good to go. They fit in packs and pockets and stand up to some bumping and rough handling. Not the "normal" user probably, but an actual user who can confirm the rice is clean, cooked well, and tastes great.

It is getting harder to find non GMO basmati rice and thankfully this rice is consistently good ; )

Spicy
Very very spicy. I tried more then a few bites and tried to hang, but it was more then what I could endure. Some may want this, it's just not for me. It's not full of flavor with some heat at the end of the bite. This wasn't anything to write home about, the texture was okay. It may be for some though, so I'd advise to try it. As for me, I wouldn't reorder. And now I have several I don't know what I'm going to do with.
