yes, resetting clears all.. consider keeping a continuous log to monitor individual devices. otherwise a meter for each unit.

I leave it plugged in whenever I have my electric car plugged in. This is how I know how much to reimburse our condo association. I think it could be plugged in all the time though.

A kWh is kilo(1000) watt hour and is a measure of energy usage. A kW is kilo Watts an is a measure of instantaneous power in thousands of watts. Simply put, Watts is current in amps times volts at that instant. If you have a device that uses 1000 watts for an hour you will use 1 kWh of energy.

how long is cumulative data stored? We need a meter that can store at least 6 months of cumulative data

not sure if KWs limit is 999 or 9999. time wise there isnt a counter. until item is reset it should continue to monitor.
