Light weight and sturdy
Went from a steel self retracting to this, wish I did it sooner. Also able to remove one of the yoyos for single use as well.

Heavy duty and light!
This aluminum, self retracting lifeline with pelican hooks is very well made. I feel more assured not having to worry about tripping all the time. It does not lock up and reels in back and forth smoothly. It's made of aluminum so it's lighter but it's still heavy duty! The self retracting feature is a HUGE plus. Also, it meets OSHA and ANSI standards which is a definite must when it comes to my safety. This is a great upgrade from the steel one I was previously using before.

Heavier than a simple shock lanyard setup, but worth it if you need the mobility.
At just shy of 7lb, this is heavier than a simple shock lanyard, but I just weighed it and it's only about 1lb more than a double shock setup. I haven't personally tried the leap of faith with it yet, but I have done some yank tests on it and on a quick pull the strap locks out after about 6inches (which is great). If you've ever taken a good fall, you know that every inch (or foot) that you DON'T fall makes the stop at the end much less unpleasant.Unlike some of the other yoyo's out there, this one has full pelican hooks rather than the smaller hooks. You can clip onto most scaffolding and anchors with these and they do have the dual action lock as required.I don't have a way to verify the ratings, but it does have all the appropriate certifications. To be honest, I have contemplated sending it over as a sacrificial test specimen to the "How not to Highline" crew on YT to perform some drop tests on it....which is tempting but too expensive for me to do just yet. (hint-hint AFP....)

Double leg self-retracting safety lifeline provides peace of mind
This is my first foray into self-retracting lifelines. I love having two lines for when I'm climbing or moving around a job. The pelican hooks have nice large openings so there's plenty of mounting/hooking options vs. the smaller hooks. I have to point out this is kinda heavy to wear on a harness. Definitely heavier than just a lifeline without the retractor. Hopefully will never have to test the fall brake and strap strength. Might be nice it it had a swivel joint between the hook and the strap. It's going to take me some getting used to but it's a nice safety option to keep attached when your aloft!

OSHA Approved!
A very well made 2 leg safety line for construction, repair or maintenance work. The self retracting feature is a nice addition, not having to worry about where your life line is or tripping over, as it will always keep it with just enough slack for you!The straps pull in and out smoothly with no jerking while walking away, they rool up just as easily and dont try to get twisted. The main hook and body are very heavy duty, and do require you to use an appropriate mount that is rated for the correct load, this is not included and due to the numerous styles of attaching to different types of structures, you will likely own many different mounts already, or will need to get the approiate mount for your jobsite. The right way to stay safe and OSHA legal while working at height!
