Perfect to isolate anything heavy......especially vibrating HVAC units
I used these under a noisy hvac air handler in my attic that was making our chandelier rattle and they got rid of the vibration completely. My hvac contractor balanced the blower wheel the best he could but nothing would stop the slightest amount of vibration that was somehow transferring through the joists and to our chandelier which was directly under it. I installed these under each corner of the air handler, and no more annoying rattles. They worked so well that I bought more for my other two air handlers and all three outside condensers which all sit on concrete slabs that are part of the house slab. You could use these for just about anything you need to isolate from the surface it's sitting on. They do have a strong rubber smell out of the package but after a while that seems to dissipate. I was also concerned with using these pads outside and what they would do to the white mortar washed brick surface I was using them on. Thankfully, after a year of being outside the colors of the pads didn't bleed onto the bricks or anything and they are still performing just as they did the first day I installed them.

4 TON AC Silencer
AC(older 4 ton packaged unit) vibrates the vintage windows.... and the floor.... just installed these with the help of a 2x6 and a car jack(to lift the AC). and no more vibration at windows and floor... now i can work from home in peace, i just hear the fan and compressor now- i dont feel it though). wish i would have thought of this years ago. 100% works full stop! im so happy i came here to purposely leave a review. i told my female friend what i just fixed, and she was clueless, or dint care... so yall may appreciate the info since u are looking at this product. fyi- i bought 8 of em, but only used 4.... so i think i may use the other 4 on the couch to decouple it from the floor as i have bassshakers i installed in the couch for home theatre tactile experience.

Good quality, smelly, maybe too stiff for my AC unit
These helped quiet my rooftop AC system, but I wonder if they make a less stiff version - these are difficult to compress with your fingers, almost too stiff for a relatively light AC unit. Still, they did help quiet the noise so its bearable.

Keeps my generator from twisting around
I got these anti-vibration pads for one reason: I have a Coleman 5kW generator that tends to shift as it runs. If the movement is not stopped, the generator would slowly spin around and wrap up any wires that were plugged in. I made feet for it from rubber hockey pucks, but they did not stop the twisting motion. Then I made feet using these anti-vibration isolation pads, and they killed the twisting motion. Take a look at my short video to see how these pads hold the generator steady. To mount these anti-vibration pads onto the generator, I used a 1.5-inch spade bit (the same sort of bit that can drill through wood). I didn't drill all the way through the pads; I drilled just far enough that I could get a bolt and big washer into the hole to attach the anti-vibration pad to a length of 2x4 (see photo). I then bolted the 2x4 to the generator. It wasn't hard to do and it works well, so far. The key is that these anti-vibration pads have sticky rubber that absorbs vibration and eliminates skidding. Why did I go through all the trouble of mounting these anti-vibration pads the way I did? Two of these pads and a hunk of 2x4 are MUCH cheaper than replacement feet for this Coleman generator. I recommend these anti-vibration pads.

They work great
I purchased these (4-packs) to pad an outdoor 2500 pound generator and switchgear set. They hold tight, cushion well, allow drainage under the skid (unlike solid strip rubber pads), are easy to place, quiet, eliminate vibration to the base and ground, do not slip and after 3 months of use we do not see any wear. They are stiff, not spongy, deform very little under load and there is no sign of UV damage or fading. Groves on the top and bottom are 90 degrees to each other which helps prevent sliding from vibration, and we have seen ZERO movement as such. We also ordered these for other equipment and have no problems whatsoever.

Works great
Bought these to go under a 60 gal upright compressor that sits in my garage, right underneath my main bedroom. Needless to say, it needed to be quiet to please the better half. The compressor is surprisingly quiet, but the vibration when it starts up on a concrete floor is annoying to say the least. About the third time it happened, I got one of those looks. These isolation pads do the job, and do it right. Also cut way down on the compressor "walk". It still shifts a little, but not nearly like it did without them on the feet. Would buy them again without hesitation.

Perfect for apartment living
I mean it when I say this, sincerely: these have greatly improved my life in an apartment. I've always been conscious of bothering my downstairs neighbor, and recently acquired a treadmill. I needed to order a second pack (it has six points of contact), but I mean it when I say 100% of the vibration is removed. It is perfect. I can now exercise at any time, with no disturbances.

Did not help my roof manuted AC
Did not help my roof-mounted AC, still has the same sound, these seem too stiff, there should be a weight rating so you know what weight they are meant to carry. i would assume you would need softer material for lighter objects. Ended up going with spring system had to buy direct from a company that eliminated the sound 100%. If you’re trying to eliminate rooftop AC sound go with spring system much better than these things!
