Does The Job
This unit replaces a RainyB unit that died. This MAKAYLA unit does a wonderful job, better than the unit it replaces. We use it in a 37 foot travel trailer to keep down the moisture in the air especially when cooking and when the AC is not on. It is used in the main part of the trailer that has a giant slide on the driver's side, and a small slide on the passenger side. I think this would be about 150 square feet (maybe a little less), and about 6ft 4" from floor to ceiling. If you know how to figure cubic feet from those figures that would be great. The unit is quiet, but not soundless. We have noticed little to no condensation on the windows in the morning, but also this is the end of February, but we do live in a humid southern state and heading for Spring here. As I write this the high today will be a humid 82 degrees. These little portable units do not have a compressor so they are unable to do zero humidity, but they do great job for what they are. I am considering purchasing a second one of these MAKAYLA units as we head into summer to use in the more forward part of the trailer which is the bedroom. My old RainyB unit displayed temperature and the moisture in the air, which I found very helpful and miss on the new unit. The new unit can light up in different colors which, imho, is just silly and useless. I am not discounting a star for this because I knew of this silly feature when I ordered the unit. Otherwise, at this time, this MAKAYLA unit is a five star product which I would buy again, and recommend to others.

quiet and powerful enough for a 10x13 area
purchased the larger size since its not much bigger than the smaller one. this is working surprisingly well and is catching so much more water than a different model from this compan. so the larger size was a good choice. theres not much airflow in the area i use this and in 24 hours it had almost an inch of water in the reservoir. worth it for my health and sanity. its not too loud and easy to tune out. i appreciate this design where the plug is not on the same side as the air intake but it could be better placed. its heavy enough that i wouldnt be afraid of my cats knocking it off the table. as for those looking at the newer model, i chose this one because i dont need the extra functions like timer and i just want a product that works so i chose this one. less fancy technology tends to have fewer malfunctions. the plug is with an adaptor like laptop chargers used to come, so it probably uses a good amount of power. you can attach a drain hose in the front below the air intake but i have not tried this function.

Working hard and well!
I hate humidity (tough, living in Florida!), and increase from the rain even with the windows closed makes my tile ever so slightly sticky feeling. Worse, the front of my house always seemed to smell musty no matter what I did for it over the years. It seems that the manufactured wood in my cupboards and floors interacting with humidity was playing a role. It's not mold. What to try next?I wanted to try a small dehumidifier as an inexpensive experiment. Here was one, attractive and a good price!I've had it for a few months, and in a space a little bigger than recommended (kitchen in a small duplex connected to a living and dining room). My house definitely smells better! I think that the floors feel a little better, too.Admittedly, it has run almost constantly. I pour the water from the mostly filled container onto my outdoor plants every two days. I have a hygrometer and can see a very slight improvement in numbers, but in feeling, it's enough for now. The real test will come in summer. I may buy a second soon so the poor thing doesn't have to work so hard alone. Thanks! :3

Pretty lights, white noise. Seems like slow collection of water.
Edited to say that this review was written before the monsoonal air flow kicked in. I am happy to report that the dehumidifier does collect water from the air. However, the water collection is slow, and I am not sure how much it is helping the humidity reading.Constant AC makes the air inside my house (in Phoenix area) unpleasantly clammy. In the past, I've gotten 70 pint dehumidifiers. They've worked great for the whole house (1800 sf) but they're expensive and stop working after about 2 years, mainly due to mineral deposits on the coils. Since this smaller dehumidifier is less powerful, I may to have to consider returning to one of the whole-house dehumidifiers. In the smaller dehumidifier's favor, the price is much more affordable, and I don't see any coils that might get covered with minerals from the water.

Collects so much water
You can definitely hear it running in the background, however for the price and performance it’s a great deal. It collects so much water from the moisture in the room. The tank is easy to remove and empty, however I would recommend washing it after emptying it to avoid mold/bacteria build up in the tank! Works well for a single bedroom.

Small, But Mighty!
The device works remarkably well for its size, better than other similar-sized offerings. The noise level is respectable and the reservoir lights can be toggled off, both of which mean you can run this where you sleep.

It's fine.
It's a perfectly fine little dehumidifier. It would probably work better in a smaller space. We bought this in conjunction with a larger unit. It definitely keeps the closet and bedroom from being as humid, but I don't feel like it pulls as much moisture as I would like. However, I don't think that's due to the machine! I have quite large rooms and high ceilings, so it's likely too small for my space. The color lights are nice at night to function as a night light and it's very quiet.

Works well in small basement
I was a bit skeptical at first, but it actually works amazing. I didn't even feel like there was much moisture in my basement, but it managed to pull almost a full tank in a week.

Great Customer Service
This appliance is for a room or small area. So, I returned this item as it is very small and unfortunately did not meet my needs. But the seller was fantastic to deal with. Good communication. Easy to work with. Prompt. Very professional and honest and I want to extend my thanks. A+ Seller.

Super
This is a super device that collects water from the air in my room. With his appearance, my room stopped smelling damp and mold stopped appearing. It's noiseless, it doesn't overheat and it looks great. I didn't regret buying it
