I’m not sure why some other reviews were negative, because I’m ecstatic!! It’s definitely NOT cheaply made.Yes, it's a little pricey for a costume but the dress rocks! I feel the material is nice, not the best, but it IS good quality. I sew often, and the stitch work is well done and tight. I see no separated/opened seams, beading applied well also. It came a little too long for me, I’m 5’5, so I will need to hem, which I personally like because I know it won’t be too short for me and the large bustle I bought. Really, I think it’s a gorgeous dress, nicely done. For the price they are asking, I feel it’s reasonable with the amount of work that obviously went into its making.I had no issues with how it was shipped. It’s a BIG dress, it’s going to have to be folded to ship.As far as wrinkles, they come out easily with steam and/or a lite iron. There’s just a lot of layers to the dress so it’ll take some time, but they come out.I’m picky, expect good quality when buying something like this and I want let down.I’ll buy from this company again!

I do cowboy action and had been looking to buy a Victorian bustle gown but because of how long it takes to ship I never was in time for my event. I finally ordered it (2 months before the event) and it did not disappoint! I loved that it’s two piece because it gives it an authentic feel and makes it easy to put on. If I order another one I will try to get it custom because I did have to take the train in and adjust the arm holes. I would have needed to get an L to not have to alter the top but the waist is a bit narrow so I had to get XL. I am 5’2 175lbs and boxy waist. I did some additional minor alterations for overall look purposes as I always custom the gowns I get but you can wear it as is. I recommend proper undergarments for this dress to make it look like the product picture as this was what gave dresses structure back then and will make this dress look great ( corset, bustle crinoline, petticoats etc) the color was great and the material was light but did not have a cheap feel.

I really liked this dress a lot. I ordered the small, I am 5"4 and around 126 lbs. The bustle skirt was too long and the waist too big so I had it altered and at the same time had a wrist band added to the train. After the alterations it was perfect. The top probably should've been altered too but I didn't want to spend more money altering it than on the price of the dress itself. The top was also a bit big. My husband helped me get it on and we had it tied in the back as tightly as possible without bunching up the fabric. Even with an actual corset underneath as well as an underdress, bra and body shaper, it was still too big. I was constantly pulling down on the front of the top as it would ride up my shoulders and chest. Other than that it did work for the ball and I don't think anyone really noticed the problems I was having. I would recommend ordering a size down from your usual, but I definitely do recommend this dress. It is very nice quality all things considered. My first picture is on the night of the ball. The last one is from Halloween.

It was beautiful to look at but it was in no way a 3xl. No matter how we tried to lace it my back would start showing. We even tried purchasing additional lacing to do one from top down and one from bottom up to make it more personalized but it didn't help.Very disappointed.

The finishing on this gown was exquisite, the color was a deep scarlet red with black lace and trim. My daughter is 5'8" normal size XSm and wore size Xsm and was wearing very high heels and it was perfect to clear for walking with a gorgeous train on the back. She did not use any additional bustles as it looked best without on her. The back has a corset back which has some flexibility for sizing and a modesty panel as well. It was worn to a Moulin Rouge themed New Year's Eve party and she received many compliments on the gown.

This looked like a dollar tree costume, cheap made and frayed, I wish I had taken a photo but I literally took it straight to ups and returned it. Plus it didn’t fit and I ordered according to my measurements. Don’t order this for a formal occasion you will be disappointed.

The media could not be loaded. I really loved the dress, it was beautifully made, for a costume. The stitching is coming apart so I’ll have to return it. The top was a bit small and the bottom fit just right, if I go up a size I will not be able to fit the bottom.This was for a Halloween costume and I already exceeded my budget or I would have it fixed and altered.
