These made a perfect, versatile blanket for vacation. I used it to sit on when out in parks, as a light cover in the plane, and to brighten up the rooms I stayed in abroad. Everyone said how lovely and homey just the blanket made everything!The smell did go away after a couple weeks. It's not the softest blanket, but that might change with use. It's quite thin, so only good as a light cover (which is all I wanted). Took up very little space in my suitcase and backpack.Highly recommend!

These are fabulous. We bought them for our trip to the beach and our girls loved them. They each had their own spot and they were a perfect size for them to lay in the sun on. These were good quality and the sand didn’t come through like I was worried about. They were very easy to shake out and fold - ready for the next day. The colors are beautiful too. Both girls asked if we could possibly hang them in their room once we got home. Great purchase for the price!!

I bought the set of 2 for beach towels for my daughter and myself. Sand don't get trapped and they are a good size for 2 or 3 people. Very pretty and received lots of compliments on them. They did have a terrible smell when received, but I washed them on gentle cycle and that took care of it for the most part. Another wash or soak and they'll be good.

I bought this hoping to use it as a beach towel/blanket. It's nice but not really useable that way. It's more like a round tablecloth. If there is any wind at all on the beach, it's hard to hold down with things on the corners. It got sand stuck to it just like any other fabric, so we attempted to use it once for that and haven't used it again. If I need an interesting round tablecloth for something, I've got it covered, I guess.

I was hesitant about ordering these after reading reviews about the chemical smell. I got these 2 because I wanted one for a christmas exchange and one for myself. I ordered it, thinking if the smell is too strong I'll just return it. Upon receiving the package I made sure to open it outside so it wouldn't penetrate my house (prior to reading another review). IT SMELLED NORMAL! Being a past art student that is what dye on fabric smells like, it was not strong at all, never made me nauseous. The size was perfect, the colors are Ah-mazing, they are beautiful!! 2 for $20 totally worth it!

I got these so I could quilt them together to form a mat to lay inside of a hanging tree pod tent. They are very pretty with bold colors and a nice design, as pictured. As others have said, they do smell like dyes, but I washed them and I think the scent will fade over time. Fabric is equivalent to a 300 thread count sheet or a cotton tablecloth. Not very soft, but not too rough, either. My biggest problem is that the diameter isn't as wide as I thought they would be. I will have to add fabric to the edges to get the full 72" size I was specifically looking for when I purchased these. They are definitely not 72" - more like 65" which isn't bad unless you really needed it to be the size they had listed in the description.

Loved these as beach blankets! So stinking cute. A little smaller than I imagined, but that’s ok. I followed what others said and washed these ALONE since you could straight up smell the dye (I washed them separate from each other since I got one pink and one blue and did not want them to bleed). Even when I put them in the dryer, the dryer sheets came out stained with color. I didn’t have time to wash them a second time before my trip, but they did not stain my bathing suit (I put a towel on top of them). When I got home I washed them separately again so all the excess dye would come out.

Very happy with these. They are true round cotton blankets like seen in the pictures. The colors are just as beautiful in person. Remember that a computer monitor is going to probably make colors appear a tad brighter than in real life. That said, I was not disappointed. Maybe they weren't as neon bright as the picture, but they are still gorgeous. I carry the blue one and my daughter carries the pink one in our backpacks for hikes or to go to the lake. WE love them. The added bonus in my mind is they are already so patterned I can't possibly stain them so I don't worry about that either!
