Works great, has not come off yet, been on the main door for 2 weeks now.Only improvement I would like to see is that the flap part would be molded in an angle back towards the door sill. I had to install it on the angled part of the original door bottom seal to get it to touch the sill plate. Being angled against the sill plate would have let me stick this strip to the door itself for a more secure adhesion.8/14/22 update:Just pulled it off, as it was coming loose, but I believe that is because of my running extension cords out under the door for my smoker, it was catching the end and pulled it loose.Those saying it doesn't stick - make sure you CLEAN IT where you want it to be. Use rubbing alcohol to remove any oils from the surface and allow it to dry first.

Easy to apply, and opposite of the other reviews regarding it sticking to painted wood - I've had no problems at all with it sticking to all my painted wood doors that lead to the outside - 4 of them. It's been very cold so far and no issues with this product at all. It has eliminated completely all the cold drafts I was experiencing. I bought another roll to do my windows, since it did such a good job on the doors.

I wasn't sure how well this was going to work, and was expecting it to be more rigid. The silicone is flexible and covers the large gap that was letting in a TON of cold air in to my home. Make sure to clean the door well before applying, as this will ensure better adhesion. Great product, easy to install, and makes a difference. Took one star away as it is not sticking as well at the top of the door - this could have been user error and not cleaning the door well enough.

Right product and it arrives on time

I have tried to stick this to a door and after a few hours it has fallen off. The door was cleaned with glass cleaner and paper towels, air dried and then wiped down with rubbing alcohol and air dried. After installation, this just slowly peeled back off. I ended up using blue masking tape to hold it to the door until I get a different product.

I need this because the conventional weather strip was not sealing my French door to the patio and my front door. It was quick and very easy to install. I liked that I could easily make different lengths! The cold air coming in each stopped as soon as it was installed. It has been several weeks since I installed and it is still doing a great job. I think it will be a great help in the summer keeping the cool air in. One of the things I like is the strip is barely noticeable and does not distract the doors looks

I bought his tape a couple weeks ago. I was a bit skeptic as to how well it would stick based on the reviews. I gave it a try since the material it was made from was perfect for my application. I applied to a painted wood sliding door. Surface was throughly cleaned and rinsed. Let dry. One thing I did that I never heard anyone say was how they pressed it on. I got the length up and pressed firmly on with my fingers the came back with some hard and round like sharpie marker or rounded handle of a screw driver. So far so good.Edit. 5 years later it’s still up, working and sticking perfectly.

If you want to save your money, then please please stay away from this product!! it is really the worst Weather Stripping with very bad Adhesion and it is not sticking for a day even and coming out so quickly. also the material quality is too bad and very cheap. as I already used that and it's come out so frequently, have no way to return that.. so all in short STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!!

I bout this because I have a picture window with full legnth sliding windows that have developed a draft over the years. I have just applied the silicone draft stopper and it blends right in,. You wouldn’t know it’s there. I can’t feel a draft on my hand now but the real test will be this winter. I really think this is going to work out great though!

Foam weather stripping is a pain in the ass to install and not effective sometimes. Our front door is warped at top outside corner, so foam weather stripping not effective. Installed the tape on main entrance, and noticed a huge difference in that area... toasty! Will buy more and recommend.
