Was trying to teach my son to install a tire with these. They have puncture protection which really doesn't add to the weight. Comparing to the original it was the same if not better. Went on the bike super easy. I was surprised at how precisely these tires were sized. Did use a screwdriver for sliding on the last part of the tire. The screwdriver was only needed at the very end of installation - not like some tires you have to force on. The tread does appear to be directional. My son rode the bike after installing these and was very happy about how smooth it was. Overall, a good experience. The tires have great workmanship, and I am expecting several years of wear. Recommended.

Regarding these Fincci tires, and some reviews stating a difficult/impossible install, I was able to put them on with my bare hands. It required a little effort, but nothing extreme. I did let them "rest" in an unfolded state overnight per another reviewer's suggestion. Inflated to 45 psi, they felt Very sturdy along the puncture resistant tread, which is the primary reason for the purchase (was experiencing frequent flats on, admittedly, old, worn, and in the case of my rear one, bald tires). Maiden 14 mile bike ride was very good as they rolled smoothly on concrete, asphalt and gravel. They did not seem particularly heavy. I ride about 4500 miles a year so we shall see. Will update this review if necessary - but after a single bike ride, thumbs up :)

Only 1 tire delivered...at first!might be good tire but messed up!!Edit: okay all was corrected. Tires went on easy. Perfect fit not too stiff I also bought some 38s as well as these . Pleased would buy again.

Super smooth and grippy. I really feel safe riding on these tires. The increase in rolling resistance was very noticeable switching from my 24mm road tires, so I don't make it as far per effort, but well worth the compromise given the ride quality. I highly recommend
