The cap was well constructed, in fact even better than the original. It took about 10 min to pull the screws out (save them!) and install the new one. I used a sealant made for camper roofs but I'm guessing a high quality roofing silicon would work too.It's clean and working. I'm glad we noticed the damage on the old ones when we did, before the roof was damaged. This is a great inexpensive maintenance item that should be done BEFORE the old ones crumble and break.

Pretty well satisfied only had to new holes. Uses for what intended for.

Works for what it does but after I bought them (4) I found them for much cheaper at the local Rv store. So there are over priced

The first trip the top of this blew off the base and was never to be found.

I would return it if I could. I didn’t realize I’d be stuck with it. If I didn’t like it. They do not accept returns. Probably the only way they can sell this. Cheap thin plastic. Doubt it will last. Doesn’t even come with a screw to hold top down. Or mounting screws. Find something else.

Installed simple but the construction of this versus the original is something to be hoped for. The original was like schedule 80 pvc and this is like schedule 40 pvc. It works but not sure it will last as long as the original after the sun and weather takes a toll!

This item does not fit my RV vent. I never installed the item.Then I find out after the order was shipped to me, the company does not accept returns.A good company would post "no returns" before you place the order.
