This company gets a A+ on how well thought out the DIY assembly is. Easy to put together, SPARE screws and even a little ratchet allen wrench to make it even easier. Seriously if this is hard for you to assemble buy reassembled products.Vey thoughtful. There is velcro on the rails and on the straps holding the boards together. Very well thought out.The cover fits over everything and is held snug with an elastic cord. The bottom is open and exposed but that means air flows even easier.I used it (4 inch version) under a very tall hybrid foam mattress and was the perfect height on my bed. Slept on it one night (so far) and it was quiet and supportive on my mattress.

i don't usually write reviews.....but this deserves 5 stars. this metal framed, low profile (4") box foundation replaced a squeaky wood frame box....what a difference. i didn't time the assembly but i did it myself in under 15 minutes. where that old wood frame box can kind of twist, this metal frame is light and rock solid. i'm impressed !

Who would think a mattress box frame would excite me but this did. It comes very well packaged and in a box that does NOT look like it's straight from China. The box is nice enough to be on an expensive department store shelf.The 4" thickness is perfect for all these newer bed frames.The frame itself is well painted/powder coated and assembles easily. No manufacturing defects. The wood slats are sanded smooth and the attaching velcro is attached straight and evenly spaced. The center beam has a nice rubber pad to prevent noises.The cover has nice felt/soft sides and fits perfectly.My one critique is the screws don't have thread locker on them. I added some for long term piece of mind noise prevention.Just really happy with this box frame.

Such a great product. Well designed and very sturdy. Instructions and numbers on pieces were on point and the ratchet that was included with it was a time saver. Had it built and on bed frame in 30 minutes.

It is a nice pick for a boxspring/foundation. The feel is sturdy though it isn't perfect. Our purchase had some of the assembly holes not lining up which required minor drilling out of holes to ensure they fit. I would recommend having this available just in case yours doesn't line up. Assembly was quick after this issue was fixed. Two wood slates were a little warped so you may also have this happen. It has affected us and the mattress weight corrects this.One final thing that I couldn't figure out until I bought it is that the outer cover for a QUEEN mattress does in fact cover the top and bottom. It appears that if you get a twin, it only will be a cover for the top. The larger sizes have a middle support bar and a dust cover for both the top and bottom.

Great to be able to assemble in the bedroom rather than negotiating a staircase with a box frame. Easy 30 minute one person assembly. Great packing labeling and all parts very well made and expensive looking. Makes our foam mattress much stiffer and the lower height worked great with these super thick foam mattress we get now.

This product was very easy to put together and very sturdy. Lowered my bed about 4in and made it much better.

Its been a long time since I've been impressed with a product - even provided the tools to keep assembly VERY simple - Quality product: sturdy, everything lined up perfectly during assembly - GREAT Product and delivery of prepared items to be assembled!

Few screws, frame marked everywhere so it's very easy to know which piece goes where. Distance between slots is under 3", which is a requirement for latex mattresses.

Easy to assemble, great quality! Would highly recommend this product!

Although I wouldn't depict this item as a box "spring", since there are no springs, it was the perfect low profile frame for our new very deep mattress. It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy and I no longer need to take a run and jump to get onto the bed. This low profile frame allows our mattress to sit at a much more comfortable height.

This thing is super cool! I mean lets be honest, what does a box spring do... occupy space, add some height and ventilation. So by it's nature it is bulky but really not made of much. I did not expect it made sense to have an item like this shipped. Until I found this.Setup was super easy and did not take long at all. Also it came with a pretty slick tool, which was a nice surprise and very smart to include. I also think this is a lot nicer than the box springs I have seen in the past. We have had this in use for over 6 months now with no issues encountered. It has held up to my nightly performances and has not complained at all. Likewise I have no complaints. STOP SHIPPING BIG BULKY BOX SPRINGS AROUND THE GLOBE, as this has to be way smaller of a carbon footprint.

So easy to put together, light weight but very sturdy. I’m 7months pregnant & put it together myself & moved it into my bed frame myself. Highly recommend.
