Best value for money
I bought this remote key fob programmer for my Honda, and it worked out of the box. I didn't have to travel to the locksmith or car dealership and spend a fortune (plus, waiting for an appointment, leaving the car, and the whole ordeal) ... I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, easy-to-use DIY key programming solution. One thing to remember is to ensure you get the right product for your car model. Also, if you don't have a spare key, you'll need to get one cut because you must insert it into the ignition during setup. This step is crucial. Fortunately, I already had a spare key, so I only needed to replace the fob when my original one died. I appreciate how easy the whole process was.Initially, I was confused about the first step, but everything worked like a charm once I got past that. I didn't use the key that came with the kit; instead, I had previously bought a different key from Amazon, not realizing it needed programming, too. So, I used the keyfob from that purchase and kept the one from this kit as a backup.

Transponder Programmer
If you have the immobilizer system in your car, this programmer completes your car keys - meaning "Engine Starts". Worked fine for mine with no problem (two keys so far) & expecting some more in the future.

A working solution - but temper your expectations
I'm writing this review hopefully to be helpful to others who may see this as a solution to their car key woes. Brief background, my original 2011 Honda Accord car key and fob was already super-glued together - I bought the car used from my sister and she had the same issues with it breaking apart - and in spite of constantly trying to reattach it in the hopes that it would remain permanent, it inevitably would break off, sometimes within months, sometimes within weeks. I finally said no more and searched for a more tenable solution and came across this product. Now, a lot of the reviews here say how easy it is to go to Ace Hardware and get the blank key cut. Be warned, this is not necessarily going to be true, at least in my case. The first Ace I went to couldn't do it, claiming they were a smaller independently owned store and there would be liability issues if the cut didn't work since I hadn't purchased it at their store. They suggested I go down to to the Westlake Ace Hardware store which was a bigger chain - but they also claimed they couldn't do it, citing store policy, and almost gave me the opposite reason of the fact they were a bigger corporation beholden to store policy and that maybe an independent store could do it.I ended up going to a locksmith down the street, who were able to cut the blank key, and they also kind of convinced me to rehouse my broken key, which I accepted because the super-glued abomination was not fun. All together, a little more expensive to do all this, but it is what it is.What I would recommend doing if are going to buy this product is to contact your local Ace Hardware, or local hardware store or locksmith, and research if they even be able to cut your key. Otherwise you might be a little disappointed. As far as the installation process once you have your key cut, it was easy, but there was a step before pairing that asked you press some buttons on the remote to do some stuff. This step wasn't giving me the results I thought would happen according to the steps, so I called the number on the box, and the guy on the phone was helpful to let me know that I could skip this step and go right to the pairing.Overall, this product will do what is advertised and give you another key provided you have a key that starts your car. Now, will it be easy and cheap to find a place that will cut the blank for you? That's something you might want to look into beforehand.

Very easy and works
I bought this once I found out that my 2009 Honda Fit came with the keyless module installed. The dealer option of keyless entry was just for the dealer to cut the key and program it to the car. I had passed on this option at the time as I used to install aftermarket security systems and keyless entry on cars that didn't have them from the factory. I had a left over universal keyless entry system and just installed it on the Fit. Fast forward many years later my remotes (the kit came with 2) had failed. The case broke on the first one after about 5 years of daily use, I switched to the second one and that case has also cracked. I was about to go back to the dealer and pay to have the keyless entry when I discovered on the Fit forums that the keyless module was already installed in the car.I bought this and took the key to get it cut at my local Ace Hardware store. Followed the instructions and the new key was programmed and the lock\unlock worked in less than 3 minutes. So glad I found this as the key was going to cost 100 and the fee to cut and program it to the car was another 150. This worked perfectly

Almost perfect!
The programming of this key worked perfectly, however none of the hardware stores would cut the key so it cost an extra $45 for a locksmith to cut it.

Useless for 11-13 CR-V
Amazon compatibility said it would work, box says it will work, when you go to program it after scanning QR code it says the key won't work with this model. I called customer service and was told that I'd need a locksmith for the programming too even though it wasn't listed anywhere. So I now have a useless OBDII key cloner that hopefully is returnable. Check their website before you buy and before you spend money getting the key cut. You can find the programming instructions and see if you get an error message before wasting your time and money.

It really works!
I was looking for an easier (and cheaper) way to program a car key. AND I Found it! The Simple Key system worked for my 2009 Honda Accord. Using this device was so much cheaper than the dealership. Just plug it into your OBD port and away you go. I was done in less than 10 minutes.

It works and its easy to use.
So after doing some research, I decided to try this product. I had some keys cut at a local locksmith for $35.00 each. I purchased these keys on Amazon. My original keys were broken and I had reglued them numerous times. The local Honda dealership want $275.00 to cut and program one key. I was able to cut, and program two keys for less then one key at the dealership. I even called around to all the local locksmiths, the cheapest one wanted $75.00 to program one key. With this kit l, as long as I have one working key, I will always be able to program all the keys I need. Note, it only allows 4 keys to be programmed at a time though.
