I'll start with the good things about this rug; 1. The size is just as advertised and fits perfectly in the area I intended it for. 2. It looks nice and the colors are good. 3. Good price.Now the bad; 1. The description for this item says, "These rugs are made from a high-quality cotton pile, providing comfort and softness to the touch". Not true and a complete lie. The tag says it's 100% polypropylene (plastic). 2. Not as soft as a cotton rug. 3. Extremely slippery on a hard wood floor. I purchased it to replace an old rug I had under my chair in my home office. This rug is so slippery on the floor that when I sit in the chair and try to move the entire rug moves. 4. You'll need to purchase a non-slip backing for it to keep if from sliding around, unless you put something heavy on top of it like a table.Unknown; 1. Durability, I don't know how long this will last seeing that it's made of plastic. My old rug was over 10 years old, somehow I don't think this one will last as long.

The rug just came in today and it's even better than I expected!I needed something to warm up my sun room so I'd actually want to spend time in there and just rolling out this rug has made all the difference.It's soft and the colors should work with most rooms (a bit of green and blue but subtle among most light shades of tan). I saw a review saying its pink: it's not pink (maybe it's the whole gold dress blue dress debate). I can tell it will hide anything the dogs track in too, which is a must.I'll be sure to update about durability as time goes on. As of now I'm very happy with this purchase.

I've been reviewing these for quite some time, here on Amzn & OS. Amazon beats most prices on OS. I'd been hesitant because I already have a few nice braided rugs from Lowe's clearance & they are no longer available, so I've been concerned about them matching satisfactorily. Especially as some had stated that the colors were way off & too bright, while others said they were nice & subdued, matching the pictures quite closely. So I decided to start off with a small throw rug for $19.32, since I wouldn't be out very much that way. I am very pleased with it; the colors actually do match the picture quite closely. It is the same style & construction as my other braided rugs, & and the colors go alright together, so I am indeed happy with it, so now I will be ordering one or two in larger sizes. These are looking quite nice on my newly installed (by myself!!!) bamboo flooring, & also cork flooring. I put on 2-4 coats of polyurethane clear gloss, & the rugs are not even slipping around. Pictures are of the Lowe's rugs as well as these rugs. Actually they look better than they do in the pictures, plus they will not be right next together like that in the rooms. As for the sewn in labels, I don't find that to be an issue: they are attached with very large zig-zag stitches which are easily removed with care.

Our dog loves to sit in front of our French doors and watch the world go by. That is until UPS/FedEd/Post Office comes to the door, then she goes tearing out to see who it is and who she can “warn”. This creates a problem with my plush carpet in that she will tear up little bits when she “takes off”. So I bought this rug for her to sit on, thereby hopefully saving the expensive carpet underneath when she decides she wants to go into her protective mode. So far, it has worked to keep the original carpet in place. And it’s beautiful sitting in front of my French doors

I am so happy with this rug! I love the quality, size, colors, everything about it. We unrolled it and it laid flat right away. I've been looking for a braided rug for months and they were all in the $500 to $600 range. Too expensive to put in a kitchen where crumbs and food will get on it. This can be flipped over after a while and look new again. :)There is nothing negative to say about it.

I bought this rug for my daughter's nursery. My goal is somewhat neutral tones with a little blue, green, and peach/ pink thrown in. My other decor is slightly floral and plant-based. This rug was just perfect. The colors are vibrant enough to light up our dark wood floor, but light enough that they don't overtake the room. The fabric is much softer than I expected. After an initial day or so, it laid flat well. I did buy a separate rug mat to keep it from skidding around, as it has no backing or traction. In fact, I'd say it's reversible. It did come with this big "Safavieh" tag sewn in, and I had to get my seam rippers (you could use scissors carefully) out and take that tag off.Also, since it's not the more jute or rough woven material that I thought it might be, my cats don't seem interested in it. I did spray it immediately with some no-scratch training spray I have, so that could be deterring them from it, but even before I did that, they weren't trying to get on it.

This rug is advertised as 100%cotton when it was in fact, 100% polypropylene!! Upon receipt, I decided to let my daughter-in-law make the decision whether she wanted to keep it or not. It was ok. It was rolled up (imported from and made in China) on a hard paper tube and had 2 thick plastic bags covering it. It lays flat when placing on floor with a little foot work of smoothing it out. We didn't like the area where the braid ended..was not smooth & really stood out. This was a lighter color, which may have made that worse. For $179, it was ok. Very disappointed that Amazon is advertising cotton when it is far from!!

It is not too thick and for me that is perfect. Things wash off it easy. I use Lysol or water depending on what spills. I have bought four of these of different colors and I absolutely love them. However, they are not sewn together too well. You can fix it yourself if you don't mind. They move around so I have sewn grippers on the back and it works pretty good but not perfectly. They are so pretty.
