Sound Town 2x12" Empty Guitar Speaker Cabinet, Birch Plywood, Black, Wheat Cloth Grill, Compatible with Celestion/Eminence Speakers (GUC212BK-EC)

Very happy with this cabinet. Put 2 Celection Vintage 30 speakers in it. 8ohm so I could get the full advantage of all the 4,8 in stereo and 16ohm input options. It looks and sounds nothing less than awesome. Sturdy and well built all around great quality. Screw holes lined up perfectly with the speakers. Fabric grill cloth on the front looks and is great quality. Sturdy metal side handles. Tolex is good quality and well applied. Made of good quality and sounding wood. Even though it already comes with the round rubber feet underneath the cabinet the only thing I did was add another set of the round rubber feet on the left side so I could use it vertically or horizontally. Also great customer service. Had an issue with the plate jack. Without any problems they quickly shipped a new one right out to me and it worked perfect. Would definitely recommend this cabinet and company and would definitely do business with them again.

Ordered to build a 2x12 with some speakers I had laying around, wow, was I surprised. First, the packing is top notch, well packed, no issues with damage. Build quality, top notch, no issues. Also, this cab is light, so that was something that made me happy. They provide the screws to install speakers and the speakers actually lined up properly!!!! Once I installed the speakers, the cab was still lighter in weight!!! I hit a home run on this cabinet. If you are on the fence, jump off and order NOW. Overall, the sound is great and I am very happy with my purchase.

The good - All plywood and no particle board. Very solid. Has a circuit board and can be wired for double four ohm out, eight ohm, or sixteen ohm. Tolex is well done. Handle inserts are metal, not plastic. The only thing you need is a #2 phillips screwdriver and two jumpers if you are four 8 ohm speakers. The packaging job is first class. It's well protected.The bad - two speaker holes were not drilled all the way thru. They put in steel inserts from the front, and they were all there, but I had to mark where the holes should be and dig out the hole from the inside until I got to where it met the insert, which wasn't hard at all. There is a split on the plywood lip where the back screws on. The front screen is not easily removable. It's missing one gusset strip in the lower left corner. The speaker screws are 8/32 and not 10/32, and they are only 3/4" long. If you are using "Warehouse" speakers, you should probably order som 7/8" long screws as the 3/4" ones are just a tad short for the extra thick gasket that Warehouse uses. The Celestions fit perfect.Overall, I'm pretty pleased with this. It's stout, and with four big magnet speakers, it's heavy. But that's good. The sound quality is fantastic, and while the quality control isn't stellar, it's a well built cabinet anyway. If I were 30 years younger, I'd buy another just to have a full stack. I have been using an EVH 2x12, so this was a HUGE improvement. I'd rate it 4 1/2 stars if I could, and it doesn't get five just because of the little bit of extra work to dig the almost fully predrilled holes out. Still, it's an extreme value for the money.

This is 1x12 Cab Is light but Built like a Tank out of plywood. It will serve me well. Easy speaker install so you can change out Speakers in about 10 minutes. This cab is easily gigable.

I put a Celestian cream back in this. It sounds awesome. Good birch wood and well made.Really good value for money

Terrible. The quality is good for the price, however, the screw holes for the speaker are way off and now I have to drill some holes in to this plywood to make the screws fit the speaker 🤦‍♂️.

Cabinet arrived packed like NASA would have done it. Very professional job. Birch plywood on all sides. All heavy duty metal hardware. Tolex looks pretty tough. The orange is a lighter color but looks good with the wheat colored grill. Loaded it with two Celestion greenbacks for a Marshall head. Holes lined up perfectly, and they gave me an extra screw and washer. The jack on the back is really awesome... allows you to choose 4, 8, or 16 ohms. Sounds amazing. Extremely happy with this cab.

The media could not be loaded. Arrived very well packaged, and perfect! It's a deep cab, like a Mesa, or EVH, but a couple inches taller. The tolex is nice, corner protectors tight, and all metal handles and jack plate. After installing a DV77 and a Swamp Thang I'm loving it! Been ripping metal with my buddy and his Mesa 2x12, and the blend is great! Really solid cab. Thinking about doing one for my bass rig next.
